I won't be seeing it for almost a whole month from now - I pre-ordered the BD a while ago. BTW, in case anybody's wondering, Bandai shop seems to have fixed their problem with Canadian shipping. And in any case, the physical BD is expensive enough so I won't be renting it on PSN.

Just saw Episode 4.
I'm curious about the Byarlant Custom. The pilot was never revealed at the end of the episode, right? Unless there's some sort of announcement in the official site or japanese magz, I hope that the pilot is a cameo of one of the aces from the previous UC series like Camille Bidan, Judau Ashta, Kou Uraki, Shiro Amada, or even Christina MacKenzie!
Yonem Kirks' Zaku Sniper is pretty awesome too! I just love Zeonic Ace's Custom Mechs

That was a wish of a lot of viewers, but unfortunately no. The Byarlant Custom pilot is a ex-Titan pilot/mechanic name Robin Diez. He showed up in some side Unicorn comics (possible published in Gundam Ace, but not sure).
Bad news for folks that have been collecting the US Blu-ray releases. Bandai Entertainment (US side) went under, therefore no longer releasing any future Unicorn Blu-ray after Ep. 4. Fortunately, we will still get the sub & dub in the Japanese release you can import for Ep 5 & 6. But it will cost you double, with slightly different packaging. People that bought the US DVD release however are kind of screwed...

Yeah, a little disappointed. I googled that info as well. Was kinda hoping that the film would stray just a little bit from the source material. But it seemed to be quite faithful until now.

Any idea of how many episodes are there. Im jealous of those who are getting the vids as they come. I'm gonna have to wait when its all collected in a box set. Too expensive for me to get the ball rollng buying per dvd.

Ther are going to be six eps total. The final ep should be out around Nov or so.
If you have a PS3 or a 360 you can stream the eps. So far I only have the first BD with no official plans to buy the others right now. Also they have released DVDs of the previous eps for a cheaper alternative. Either way no one should be denied access to this awesome show.

....and so I was WRONG!
Looks like Bandai is expanding the series to 7 episodes. Which is great news. The bad news however....episode 6 ain't til 2013!! Episode 7...who knows what this is....feature film perhaps?
Anyways episode 5 is coming. Better enjoy it for a while, because it's gonna be a bit before we even get a trailer for 6.

Gotta wonder if they're falling behind in production or something. Although, 2013 "spring could mean anything from late February all the way to early May. So who knows. It might not be a "whole year."
Now I'm very curious what episode 7 will be - in the fall of 2013? Is it a going to be a movie event like the rumours are saying?
Anyway, I already pre-ordered episode 5 on Amazon Japan, so I don't mind waiting a bit. If collecting this is going to be this expensive, the longer it stretches out, the less painful it will be when my credit card bill arrives.
