Well, I'm not interested in these type of real robots and obviously not going to get it, but I have to admit that it looks very cool - lots of details and great paint job. I know more than a few members here will be thrilled with the news! ;D Thanks for the heads up and pics! }D

Aargh.. why do these companies do this? It's kind of like Yamato releasing the Sheild Liger instead of the Blade Liger (well, sort of.. I still love the Shield Liger release). But if you want good sales, or even just to test the market for something, start with the most popular of the series, not something that might be popular. Out of all the cool design they could have chosen.. I wonder if they just couldn't get the rights for anything else?
I guess I'm kind of excited that there might be more Armored Core bots to come (?).

Not sure if I can agree with you guys. I am not an Armored Core fan, but have seen quite a few of their designs and model kits. I think Bandai actually picked a very interesting one as their first SRC release. I wouldn't be as interested if they are the common ones that I've already seen a bunch of times. Though I may not pick up that weapon set even if I have the UCR-10/A

I liked what bandai is doing with the src line, these robots which I will never buy as soc. However as cheaper src line, then why not.

I'm gonna get it, besides a Gundam and Xabungle stuff I don't have any real mechs so this will add variety plus I can display it as a enemy mech for Mazinger or something.

I think SRC line has getting more and more interesting. It cover so many different type of robots in different era. However, my taste has changed over time, I simply doesn't want to collect any 'small' size of toys anymore.

Yeah, this is a cool and interesting release, and I'm glad to see somebody finally branch out into a gokin Armored Core bot, but as far as Armored Core goes, it's not one of the bots I was REALLY hoping for.

This robot looks aright, but there are some Armored Core units I think would be much cooler to had made. The only thing I do like is that is sort of an obscure design that can fit in with a lot more of my realistic robot collections. I am not a fan of the chainsaw thingy.

I'm trying very hard to convince myself I don't need this. It'd probably look pretty awesome next to my Front Mission Evolved figs... aaaargh. Must stay resolute.

DULL. And you guys are talking about Grendizer in this line? And naming all these classic robots you want from SRC??Never gonna happen!!KEEP DREAMING!!! This line is completely LOST to classic robots. Can anyone say "let's clutter our collections with useless 60$ whims from Bandai?"SRC = Some Rotten Crap. If it werent for a (mediocre) Mazinger release this month,I wouldnt even bother looking anymore.I cant believe they still have the gall to call this a Super Robot line! What a joke.
This outing looks like a bunch of smashed Gi Joe toys glued together.I wouldnt even rant about this at all if they didnt call it a Super Robot line, how the hell is this release a Super Robot?

It's ok if it's not your type, but it is nice to see some variety in these kinds of lines. It's not like we haven't had three hundred Grendizers released over the years.

Actually, only two Grendizers have been released in the past decade - the Bandai SOC and the HL Pro Metaltech. And while there have been several re-releases of both, no updates to their design have been made since their release. }D

I stand corrected, I'm fairly uninformed when it comes to the Go Nagai stuff.

Additionally Marmit made a couple of PVC Grendizer figures Meanwhile, here's the list of Armored Core (non model) toys that have been made in recent history: I think one release isn't going to kill anyone's collection or doom the super robot chogokin line.

this is for super robot chogokins releases only, not crappy ungly plastic figures from revoltech or vinyl figures without any metal in them, right? armored core are definetely not super robots in any way and should not be in this line. even the power ranger robots can be considered super robots in a way but never the armored core ones. might as well make super robot chogokin gundams too if that is the case!!!!
