It is very likely a fake post, cause the text surrounding the Tryder G7 is a bunch of mis-mesh, some talking about Bandai Mueseum (copy and paste twice), then there is some no name show episode 4 - 6 in production!!! (again, makes no sense). The big slap in the face is the big diagonal text "Slashes! Double Haken! (from Grendizer LOL)" Tryder G7 also look like a cheaply made CG model, with a terrible logo on lower right corner (missing all the subtext). So looks like a pretty bad joke that just tried to fool people that don't read Japanese.
The top portion however looks more legit, with Bandai saying they will pick one out of those 10 candidates and release it as a SRC in coming summer, based on the fan results of a recent Tamashii Web poll (which some of us discussed in the SRC thread):

I will not believe it until it's officially announced, if the next gx-62 is Trider G7 he's welcome. But Pass on it , i hope it's Mazinkaiser or Shin Getter Robo or SRX or somthing unexpected.

Tryder G-7 is the natural choice for the next SOC actually. It makes sense. He is the next most important Super Robot that hasnt been done yet.I really hope so,as he is SORELY needed!

if it is tryder g7 then im passing on it too, don't like it. i am hoping for less expensive release like a mazinkaiser or not combining figure that doesnt cost $250 dollars!!!!!!
I'm down to just a few pieces to feel like my collection is COMPLETE, complete enough for ME anyway! So if anyone is selling, or knows someone who is selling their Jumbo Machinders of Tetsujin, Sun Vulcan or Leopardon I promise to give them a great home Drop me a PM

Wow,If its Tryder,ILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY!! I dont understand guys, there are 2 Mazinkaisers out already, and a cheaper robot? That is what SRC is for!!!. Lets face it SOC's line at this point will not go below 250$ on robot anymore, its not the 90s.
I welcome more expensive robots,as alot of teh time it means a BETTER robot. When has this hobby been about money? For those who dont have the means SRC is great! But I dont want to compromise my robot collecting for cheaper product outings.
And Tryder is the obvious to do next for SOC,and for modern Super Robots in Diecast. Not only will he complete the 3 Robot trio, but basically complete the 70s/80s Super Robot line of the classics.
Yes I realize Mekander Robo etc havent been done in diecast AND I really want one,BUT it has been done modernly by CMS.Tryder has not in ANY form of the word Modern. Not that Dairugger is done, basically there are only a handful of 70s style Robots left to do in Diecast/Modern. Im starting to think just myself and a handful of other members are the only ones who like these semi-obscure 70s/80s robots. We dont need any more Getters,Mazingers or MazinKaisers for Godsake.Yes an SOC Mazinkaiser would be nice, but the Aoshima one is fine. Tryder G-7,is welcome for me anyone else?

if the socs keep getting so costly, many people like me that used to buy them will stop doing so and eventually the line will be done. toy robot collecting cannot be just for people with money, because these days there are not that many of us. i love to get an soc mazinkaiser and shin getter but i will not if they are in the over $200 price. based on bandai releases of simple super robots, neither the aoshima or max factory versions of shin getter and mazinkaiser will even come close to one made by bandai, so the argument of them being made before is invalid. also improved moder versions are always good, like the new soc combattler and shin mazinger gx45. dont tell me nobody would like an improved soc grendizer over the tryder, because i will not believe it. and last, nobody has to like the same things, you like what you like and i will like what i like. but it will be a good thing for my bank account if it is true that the gx62 will be tryder, because i will get to same more money for the gx63!!!!

Sorry man, I LOVE Grendizer and have since the old Shogun Warrior days as he was one of my favorites even back then, but I have many versions of Grendizer in my collection, meanwhile I haven't got any representation of Tryder....if the 2 were released side by side I'd eventually get both, but Tryder would be my priority by FAR.
Same with Mazinkaiser...sure, it's not Bandai, but it looks perfect in my collection and that's good enough for me Ditto for the several Brave Gokin releases...I wouldn't double up on them if Bandai released them...Tryder meanwhile is all new to me.

Exactly!well said. But it is what it is,for those who say they havent the money, and SOC should not make expensive robots because they cant afford them?.Well everyone likes Lambourghinis right? But not everyone has the money for them, should Lambourghini cheapen their cars so people who dont have teh money can buy them??Dont think so.One cool thing about these toys is they are NOT easy accessable, and not everyone can have them that makes then MORE desirable. If theywere all 20$,evryone would have them, and they wouldnt be so special OR valuable.Im far from rich, but I like nice things.I dont want SOC to make plastic versions,or crappier vesrions or even cut corners,I want them THE BEST they can be,and if that means $$$ so be it.I save for them just like everyone else!
