For sure we will have G1 Anime accurate colors (better than Starscream Hasbro version with smoke paint apps)

Yeah I didn't like it but it was pretty easy to get off, I just used 75% alcohol and it rubbed off.

They look good, but a lot of people already do that with the legs on the official versions. This is going to be all about the colors and based on the colors used on the coneheads I don't think you're going to be getting "clean" cartoon effects. I expect the point to be very gritty and detailed, otherwise they just wont mesh well with their previous 3.

Has anybody ordered the full set? I'm really on the fence on this one. The mini Prime is nice but the plastic isn't anything special, kinda crappy actually.

Not yet, I'm on the fence about spending that much plus shipping and then having to wait for all the three to be released before they ship out the set. I think I might just buy it one at a time since it gives me a chance to see how they turn out without spending big bucks for subpar toys.

There making the original three Seekers but without the hip kibble and monitors on their arms like Prime. oooh first I've heard of this. I missed out on MP Starscream at retail. After market prices and excess hip kibble put me off trying to get one. You got source on these pics or any more info release date etc? If it's a solid product it may be my first KO.

It's from iGear's facebook page so it's coming straight from the source. The only thing is after they released these pictures that was it so either their to busy releasing their updated Primes and getting ready for the Conehead releases or they decided not to build these. Personally I think they will release them but not for awhile, iGear is supposedly just the distributor of these toys and not the makers, in either case their a pretty small company are can probably only handle so much at one time.

Some detail pics of the upcoming Coneheads, looks pretty good. Looks like a lot of it will be painted so I hope they use very durable paint.

Some youtube videos of the prototypes. Looks like because of the tailfin design these will get some much needed stability in robot mode.

why does hasbro or takara cant make this coneheads???

Hasbro and takara aren't making these because their R&D see little to no profits in doing these. Yeah, igear can make these, but actually how many can they sell? 500 if they are lucky. For hasbro and takara, if they can't see something that they retail @ 100$ and can't sell 20000 copies, they aren't going to do it. It's this reason that takara hasn't gone after and shut down igear. Look, if igear can make millions selling these bootlegs, takara will want a cut. But seeing as it isn't likely, igear can continue to do as they please.
I remember when igear started out with the mini MP-01. They had maybe a limit of only 25 to 50 copies for order to test the market. Then using the money they made from it, they did second runs and multiple versions.

Yeah, Takara can easily make the Coneheads if iGear can they just don't see a market for it or they have other plans. Plus the mold for the Takara Seekers must be getting pretty worn out now with 6-7 different releases so making new ones plus specific ones for each Conehead and not to mention that their secondary characters compared to say Prime or Grimlock it just wouldn't make sense.
