You can reload the avatar, I made some contrast change on picture...

Beautiful!!!
I am so glad to see many more CG artists here at RJ. Brother, I love your work and your CG style, and that G-YOM mecha looks truly believable, and so realistic. The materials and surface textures look so crispy clean and sharp, and I also like the color shading.
Anyone can model CG mecha characters, and many of them turn out "cartoony". But then, I guess it depends on what the CG artist wants to create. Your work there with that G-YOM is very professional. Congratulations on your new CG career, you deserve it!
I'll follow this, and I'll be looking forward to your mecha movie as soon as it is released.

Thanks man ! Now I am completly into design and mecha design for movies and cartoon series. Past january, I finished a Transformers-like advertising involving 4 mechas (head train + 1 wagon combining together). Due to law copyright and law adjustments, I am waiting green lights from attorney to put the movie on line. I was in charge of mecha design, AD, fx & animation direction. I teamed up with I friend who allready designed CG modeling for ROTF Arcee, Scrapper at ILM Frisco Studio. I will give news soon with WIP and goodies.
Now I really turn hobby to senior professional job. I am allready in charge of mecha design and props for a future movie (very famous... Shhh, it's a secret) involving robots combining into a giant one. Pre-production will start soon... Can't tell much more but I will give exclusive news to RJ forum as soon I will be allowed... ^__^
This march and april, I am working as lead creature & props designer for a new cartoon for Europe. First episode will be ready for september... -> anime style and very dynamic.
I really enjoy to be a part of creation now, more than be only a mecha collector... My collabs with iGear are really nice as a little start in mecha toy creation. Next step is still designing packaging, but starting some toy design. Here I come 3rd party world !... Just need to find some time... Aaaaargh...

Wait, so Moebius died? He was a huge influence on me in my pre-teen days, back when Heavy Metal was still going strong and Moebius was this icon of the whole adult alternative comic book scene. I used to go this Comic book store ran by a bunch of hippies who didn't care about the "adults only" tag that was put on some comic books back then. Anyway, the point being that Moebius was kind of my hero back then.
