they look like bootlegs even the name on some of them "Super Cross Robot" but they may have been based on a original figure, sometimes they remold certain parts so the figure looks alittle different then the original, i do not really recognize any of them though the little ones look like older Micron Transformers from the end of the First G-1 series

The packaging suggest that these are originals... The hiragana and katagana seems convincing. I don't believe these are bootlegs, but I don't see any familiar manufacturer logos on the packaging either.
Maybe Kabaya-type candy kits? But they seem to come full assembled.
Looks pretty cool though.

Boy I'm stumped! They remind me of Tomy toys from around 1995 or so. But I can't see a logo clearly on the box. Then I haven't seen these designs before. VERY intersting

Yes, they were awesome! As we didn't have money to buy "real" Transformers in the 1980's, my parents bought them in Fairs and when I was older in a ceramic and china plates (!) shop in my small town :-) My favorites were the Striger and Ceed Goliath, it's a shame i don't have them anymore :-(

If they Are bootlegs, they sure look Awesome! The color schemes on those specimens look tastefully well-distributed and well-matched with a vivid color combination. I also like the packaging with all that Kanji logo print on it, it would be the first thing I notice when I walk inside some Arab-owned Dollar Store in my area.
--------
There are cheesy bootlegs, and then there are amazing bootlegs that look almost as authentic as the original character and its packaging is a sight to behold... I've seen a walking robot with its laser pistol, and the head looks like it's molded from a Gundam RX-78 head. ;D

I would love to get my hands in these bots again! The design and color are very cool, someone should make fanart with them! Maybe I'll give it a try ;-)

Nice, especially the second picture set you posted Mr. DavidMartins31.
Those combination sets remind me of the vintage Machine Robos that use to combine: There was an apache helicopter and a tank that combined, an 18 wheel truck w/ rig and jet that combined and some other ones. Gobots released their own larger different versions exclusively here in U.S.

Unfortunaltly they seem to be little known. I just can imagine if they starred in a animated TV show... would it be as famous as Transformers, Gundam, etc? I think we'll never know :-)

Wow! Thanks nikodiablo! Didn't know some of these blogs, and in these Google search already rediscovered some Transformers KO I had a long time ago: Now I have to explore these blogs! Meanwhile, I bought a few days ago a KO that included the Striger 2 that transforms in to the legs and head of these one: The Striger 1 (the torso and arms) is the only survivor in my collection. The old and the new combine pretty well, very soon I will post the pics of both here!

So here are the pics of the Striger 2 that I bought a few days ago. I found it by change, in the chinese store where I bought a KO Bruticus and Superion. Striger 2 came packed with other figure, a red car that also can combine with Striger 2. The left photo: My vintage Striger 1 [arms and chest] and the new Striger 2 [legs and head] The right photo: Vintage Striger 1 and Striger 2 [not my pics] The left photo: My vintage Striger 1 and the new Striger 2 in veicule mode: The right photo: Vintage Striger 1 and Striger 2 in veicule mode: [not my pics] Striger 1 and 2 and car that transforms in chest and arms. The old and new toy connect almost perfectly, I think I'm going to make a custom chrome paint in this new Striger 2!

I think I'm quite certain now that the Super Robot Cross series is made by a manufacturer called "wing" (hence the blue W resembling wings on their logo). www6.pos.to/~butto/ttwing.html
