Hey admin1 is there a web site we should know about, to log onto? I want to make sure I join the site to get warnings when this comes up, so I can make sure to give some of your items a safe home with me.

OK....toys packed.....trailer filled....... the drive has begun.
It isn't a trip I'm taking. I don't think I can stand the idea of feeling every bump, but soon the auction house will have toys to begin the cataloging, photographing, and book making.

I will have both my dukes up for the Golion. It is so my Ellenor. I have $800 so far saved just waiting to fight it out for that and a few other items.

Planning to see you there Ed. I was just at the Antique City Fun Fair in PA, and Dan Morphy and crew had a booth set up, and he confirmed the September time frame. Seemed pretty happy to try out another collection in this "new" whippersnapper area of collecting, LOL.
Compared to all the other much older antique areas of bidding and collecting, our hobby is one of the newest to come to come to maturity in terms of being viable to set up an auction house event on. Will be interesting to see it develop.

Funny, but true comments about the age of our toys vs normal "antiques." I'd say, though, that when you look at the amount of cash that is thrown around, that gets the attention. I've always said they are better made than most any other toys that were truly meant to be played with.
I'm very much looking forward to the "event". If toys sell at modest to low prices, I'm hoping friends can enjoy the bots for me, especially those of you that can make it in person

OK, I JUST completed my draft copy of the descriptions and robot list. Whew.... I may post the pre-edited listing for fun....if there is interest, and Dan doesn't mind.

If he doesn't mind that would be great to see. My list is going to be somewhat narrower than some of the guys here, and I will probably look at a mix of common and rare items...but nothing AFA will be in my sights, I am just not that kind of collector.
Anyway, having some sort of idea of what's coming will be great, as I am trying to figure out a comfortable balance between extra items I am selling off and how much income I am putting aside that will translate into nice stacks of money for possible new robots...otherwise I can wait for the list when the catalog comes out.
