Hello! Newbie here. JWM did you get your GX-03? I've seen the same guy on Ebay selling GX-06 for $129, but shipping is $45. I live a couple a miles from this guy and had emailed him if I could pick it up, thus saving me the $45 for the shipping. I hope he considers it. He says he has "10" of them. Kinda hesitant...What do you think?

Roboloco: I bought the GX from this guy about twelve days ago but I haven't got it yet. It took him about a week to get back to me with an e-mail confirmation of the order. As I mentioned, he did apologize for being tardy with the response. Look closely at his listing. The shipping is high because the stuff is being shipped from Hong Kong. So you won't be able to pick it up. I won't start sweating again until the end of the week. Shipping from Hong Kong usually does take over two weeks, and it will be two weeks on Monday that I placed the order. His feedback is good, so I'm not too worried. Welcome to Robot Japan. How long have you been into J-toys and such? By the way- cool nic. JWM

Thanks jwm! I got an email response to my question and yeah, you're right, no way I can pick it up --it's in Hong Kong. I might wait on it, depending on my finances. My wife hates it when I purchase these things. Ever since I was a kid in the Philippines in the '70's I've been into J-toys, but couldn't really afford to actually purchase one. Late 2003 when it all changed for me. I've been telling my wife how I would love to have a Godaikin Voltes V and she got me one for my birthday. Then that's when it all this "craziness" started. I then started collecting "SOC's" and the rest is history. (I think my wife regrets it now hehehe...)

Oof! Earlier today I took a b. i. n. on a s. o. c. Poseidon from the same guy, terng3110! I'm really kicking myself because I'd already visited this thread and failed to make a note, mental or other wise, of his handle. Let me know if yours comes please, JWM. I'll post if mine does too, and this will turn into a vindication of the guy rather than the catalyst for a head beating. Peace, man!

Hypnotator: Long time no see. How's the world treating you? I'm hoping everything works out OK, and I have a feeling it will. (Especially considering his prices.) It'll be two weeks tomorrow since I placed the order. I'll post as soon as I get it.

That avatar was something I did for an online Photoshop competition, but I was too late to submit. The theme was famous men as famous women, and I called this "Ollie Jean Baker".

Guys, I really hope your orders get fulfilled, but I cannot stress enough to remember eBay's and PayPal's protection time frame.
You have 30 days after payment was made to file a report with PayPal. After that you're 100% S-O-L. If you haven't received your merchandise by the 29th day, I'd do it then, without hesitation.
You have 90 days after auction end to leave feedback on eBay. If you do end up getting scheisted by a seller, do not leave negative feedback until day 89, so that little, if no time is left to spare for the dishonest seller to leave an unjustifiable retaliatory negative for you. As we all know, the internet is a great place, but it's crawling with creeps who live anywhere in the world and have no fear using dirty unethical tactics against the good people they'll never encounter face to face.
I say all this because it has happened to me on more than one occasion, and I absolutely don't want to sit back and watch it happen to you guys. Best of luck with your dealings.

Thanks, Rex: I am watching the calendar as well as waiting for the mailman every day like a stupid dog.
Bomber2: I'm not really worried, yet. He doesn't have a lot of feedback but none of it indicates anyone being burned. One or two people remarked that orders took a long time. I haven't bought a lot of stuff from Hong Kong, but the stuff I have ordered from there has taken three weeks or more to get here. JWM

jwm - I see that you haven't received your GX-03. What kind of shipping did the seller use? If he used EMS it should take about 7 days and that's with a tracking number. If he used SAL (from my experience with hlj.com) - it takes about 4-6 weeks. HANG ON in there!
