L-Gaim stuff is cool, but I'd love it more if someone was making toys of Nagano's Five Star Stories mecha . Wave teased and teased with some toys but it all went up in smoke.

agree, I want to see some Five Star Stories mecha stuff.
An MM Auge would not be unwelcome, but I have a feeling that a toy version of it would be the biggest pain in the ass EVER to just get standing
I wouldn't argue against that. Thinking about it further, I'd want my FSS in a larger, more static format, like the resin model kits, but built and painted already (almost like a SOC Zero or something)!
My favorite RD's are the ones that I can easily fiddle with on my desk, and the FSS designs don't seem to be ideally suited as RD's. I like my L-Gaim Mk. II, but it's not especially fun to handle due to all of the moving parts and its inherent design; conversely, the recently released Zaku II has been pretty popular hand candy since it's arrived.
This goes more for the more intricate/extreme designs like the MM Auge and Yen Xing though; I could see guys like the LED Mirage, KOG (v3 would be drool-worthy), and Vatshu working decently well in the RD line. Ultimately I think I'd pick them up regardless of what form they take.
EDIT: On a side note, it's fun to look things up in Google Image search to get pictures on unfamiliar robot designs and such, but I was always afraid of what sorts of results the FSS mech "Bang Doll" would generate!
