Awesome update with the new pics.

I want to like these, but find myself having second thoughts of buying. Snake has a very nice head, but the proportion of the body and suit don't gel well for me. While well made, it looks more like a super nice realistic cosplay of the figure, but loses the slightly stylized and heroic build the CG model has (the shoulders on Snake for example). Boss on the other hand loses the feminine touch and has a very masculine face. Again, while everything is detail and well made, they don't sit right as a whole...a bit disapointing.

The older Medicom MGS figures seem to be able to get the right proportion, though their attention to detail and head sculpt is not on par with Hot Toys. Hope HT improves on these two on the final product, as I would love to get them. But not so sure if they look the way they are now. Or maybe HT's body types just not meant for these type of characters that are semi-realistic and slightly stylized.

Dead-man. MGS is one of the coolest games ever. It pretty much created a genre!

Does anyone own this bad boy yet that can offer reviews?
