For many Jumbo collectors that are not purists and don't mind less than perfect modifications, here is a simple fix for the all too common missing wings on Dunbine. Dunbine was never a "must have" JM for me. I've never been big on getting anything under 24in...but I got him recently pretty cheap but pretty stripped down as well. When bidding for him a thought about the missing wings popped into my head. The wings from pics I have seen appear to be insect like, and it reminded me of an old toyline from the mid-80's called "Sectaurs"....they used to have big dragonflys with insect wings that I thought would be about the proper scale. These toys are found very easy on Ebay and often you can get broken pieces for next to nothing. The wings have a really nice translucent look and really makes Dunbine stick out among other Jumbos. This mod will without doubt not be for everyone....but many might find it interesting. And the good thing is, it can be done without any damage to the Jumbo....you just unscrew the lower set of screws on his back, drill out the holes on the wings and tighten them down....easy to put on, easy to take off.

i have debated on picking one of these up. they seem pretty cool but. don't quite have the same styling as the classic super robot jumbos. still, i can't resist buying everything that i see that is a jumbo machinder. well except the mmpr jumbos.

You know I was never really searching hard for this particular Jumbo either....
BUT...I have to say, once I got him and set him up with the others...he really looks pretty good despite the different build....his all purple coloring really sticks out.
I'd say pick him up if you ever get a chance to do so, for sure since he is pretty inexpensive.
