Yeah and it's all because Maxfactory couldn't make the hip joint just a LITTLE looser. I don't even know why they bother putting a joint there you can't move the damn thing.

The engineered didn't think about the long term affects of gravity when they created this. It's like those nice PVC anime statues that stand on single leg poses. If you diplay them for long periods of time, the leg will start to lean and bend.

I got the Genesic 1.5 and there's no problem with the hip joints. I think there must've been a memo to the factory workers to ease up on the screwdriver twisting. My Gold version is also okay. I think I got lucky there.

Geez... sorry to hear that Chen. What is it with GGG toys? With the exception of the Takara figures, the new ones just tend to break.. it's like the character is cursed.

Man! This is a painful image to look at: To tell you the truth, I never really like these Max Factory figures too much. Nevertheless, I also have the Final Version of the GGGG, the Godannar and the Mazinkaiser. They are awesome in details and metal content, but at the same time, they are too expensive and fragile. The only exception is the Godannar, which seems to be the best made of the three. }D

I feel for you Chen... This is how I felt when I accidentally ruined my SOC Voltes - except I can't blame anyone else for it.
Well, at the moment, other than difficulty in standing up straight in smooth surfaces, my CMS GGGG is still OK, just in case you're looking for substitute.

yeah godannar is pretty good.. I just hate that shoulder seems really bouncey when you move the arms around.. it doesn't feel solid.

I actually put a "twisty" ( I have enough of them from hasbro packaging) on the upper leg to keep CMs GGGG's legs from spreading and the figure from toppling down.

Yeah Godannar is definitely the pick of the litter with Mazinkaiser second. I probably won't get another GGGG figure unless it comes out as a SOC, but I just love the look of the MF. It's too bad the quality/engineering couldn't match it's looks.
