Hey, this looks interesting. Now we have two manufacturers that is planning to produce Not-Megatron. This should be a good alternative for those that don't care about the looks of the hegemon version:

I was thinking the same, but they are still accepting a lot of preorders on other 3rd party items. Battletanker is a good deal, and perhaps the best deal was the two pack Maketoys Giant. That one sold out really quickly. But IMO, it just seems like this stuff isn't moving anymore. I mean, as cool as them Fansproject Insecticon is, there just inst enough people interested. Same goes for the Mastermind creators Hearts of Steel Knight Morpher and them mini bots from both Igear and Maketoys. The PE Reflector set, regular color version sold out, so that one was a good deal, but aside from that, most of the stuff on sale, there is an abundance of them. When FP did them clear Rodimus Protector trailer, they should of made it a limited production run of maybe 500 or so. There is just too many available for something that wasn't really sought after.

Thanks! Battle-Tanker bought! In a rare case of things working out for me, I had just come from winning a Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime on eBay. For some reason this particular seller didn't mention "RTS" or "Reveal the Shield" in the title so I lucked out and won with an opening bid of just $13. Now I'll have the matching 3rd-party set! awesome!

I waited too long, and the battle tanker is gone. I guess I will get a clear Protector armor instead.

Some say it might be the IDW prime. I do like their first figures design.
