Just to speculate, judging by the size, scout type are usually around 50$ each. So this one will probably be about half versus the TFC version. As of this point, my interest in the tfc version goes away with more new on this version. This one is all complete where as the tfc version has yet to show the prototypes of the last two constructicons.

well since this Dev version will be in a scout size, it will go nicely with Bruticus and Superion. i doubt we will see this figure over the $250+ range. as for the other from TFC, they need to do something drastic for there pruduct(perhaps reducing a it the price can make it much better).

For sure MT version suit well with combiners FP upgraded because of design, edges sharpness, details... These indicate MT is "under FP protection", means this Devy could be a FP production they couldn't manage, because of ton of works (the core website, Causalities and "Motormasters" productions, maybe-glacialbots and perhaps crossfire set III)... They probably gave this baby to MT. Or it's a way to separate productions to not put themselves in a Hasbro "copyright danger red zone" by beeing a company with a lot of non-licenced products?

I'm preferring the TFC version. Bigger bots, just as accurate, and better fit with Classics. Plus I don't have Bruticus, just Superion and we haven't seen the individual bots yet for this set.
BTW, you can see the head in the other pic, this one is just at an awkward angle.
My favourite comment from the TFW2005 board about this new not-Devastator:
CheebsThe fate of multiple worlds hangs on wheather those forearms partsform or not.
And I agree... We know why Devastator had funny black forearms - because the original G1 toy was too primitive not to have parts-former arms. But in today's world, come on, there's no excuse.
For now I'm still siding with TFC's version... until I see more photos of the Maketoys attempt though.

^ Well, as long as MT is able to integrate the additional bits (if the arm bits turned out to be parts-former that you need to attach) like the way FP did with their not-bruticus expansion, that should be good enough for me.
