I love TFC's projects and all that, but I can't help feeling bad for all those who got defective not-Constructicons... especially those who are STILL trying to get satisfaction. That must put a damper on what should be exciting news that a new rendition of Superion is coming. In fact, I'm a little worried if TFC doesn't address the QC issues they had in the past.
The teaser image does look cool though and I would love to see prototype images like when they released unpainted images of the very first Exgraver...
It's the same combination mode as FP Explorer, so pulling up legs will turn knees in elbow mode and gives long forearm.
I just hope TFC will give real masterpiece design and shapes for alt modes, and synthetize true g1 designs and spirit into sharpened modern robot designs. TFC constructicons were bulky but too much bevels give them toy shapes (plastic involved increased that fact). [-> versus Maketoys Devy design which is more sharpened and gives more dynamism and cartoon style]...
This time, how will they manage weapons and combiner spare parts ? (feet, hands, shest and pelvis plates...). IMO, Fansproject give us the best idea for multi-use of spare parts with the Bruticus Crossfire set. Perfect combo !
Making transforming jets that don't have a fat undercarriage is difficult enough, not too mention making a transforming jet that can transform into robot and robot limbs, without incorporating external parts.
Nevertheless, this is going to be in interesting project by TFC, and I look forward to their updates. Hopefully, the final combined figure is decent.

Never read the Seibertron or tfw2005 boards, sarcasms can kill the name ^__^ Anyway, for us it is called SUPERION !
Can't wait to see what degre of futurism (versus contemporary aircraft design) TFC gives to this set... What is quite 100% sure, the transformation remains the same as the G1 toys... Remember this...

Couldn't agree more. The name is just awful. And to add the word "project" in front of it made it sound even worst. This time around, I would most likely wait until all five of them are available before purchasing. Just so I know that I am getting everything and it functions properly. Unlike with Devastator where I didn't even know that my Longhaul figure was missing a ratcheting nub inside its belly. Had Bonecrusher not come with the new waist replacement part, I wouldn't have needed to open up my Longhaul and would not have notice the little piece missing. TFC is doing nothing after two emails, no response at all.

Not sure why people are complaining about the name... Like anyones going to actually label their combiner to that title anyway. You'll call him Superion. Hercules was pretty stupid too if you ask me but I pay no mind to the names ... He is devistator and they are the constructicons. Could call him the Flying Weasel Project and it wouldn't make a difference as long as the quality is there and it looks badass as Devi does Ill be happy.
That does suck about the few people the have had issues with previous releases... Hopefully you'll get it sorted out. To bad you can get a refund through the website you got it from. If its actually missing joints or pieces you think you'd be able to exchange it.

If they want to stick with the Greek God name thing they should have named it Chronos. As for price I see the arms and legs being the same as Hercules but Silverbolt costing quite a bit more. Five instead of six figures but I bet in the end the price will work out to be the same as Hercules

I'm excited and I don't care about the name. I keep calling Hercules "Not-Devastator" in front of my friends because they wouldn't know what I was talking about otherwise. So I have a feeling I'll have to refer to this guy as "Not-Superion" anyway when I talk about him.
