Hello guys, I'm new to this forum. One of your member saw this work at Macrossworld forum, and asked me to share this with you here at Robot Japan. So here I go. I started this project early this year, and it's purpose for model contest at Botcon. This model is fully posable, and transforms to truck mode. It is all made out of styrene sheets and bondo putties. I will update more pictures later. Enjoy. http://s688.photobucket.com/albums/vv248....nt=DSC06443.jpg http://s688.photobucket.com/albums/vv248....nt=DSC06444.jpg

Excellent craftsmanship! I'm really excited to see the finished piece...I'd say the competition doesn't stand a chance!
Welcome to RJ!

I used polyester putty and styrene sheet to sculpt fingers. I only sculpted one finger set ( top, medium, and bottom), then I made a silocone mold, and casted them in resin. They are all connected with aluminum wire.

We have Michaels, not Pearl Paint. Styrene sheets are available at most hobby stores. They also comes in various colors. Cost about $4 for a sheet that is about 8" X 10". They also have styrene dowels and tubes that are about $2 for a 2 foot stick. They vary in diameter and price. They also have different shapes, square rather than round, etc.

I must have spent over $100 for the materials. I still have to buy small LED lights and battery cases. Plus I will need more materials for the display base....damn!
