Hello Boazanians ;D I just ordered 2 Voltes V from Angolz. Gosh! I totally broke down... I just can not resist the temptation of buying not 1 but 2 just because of the cheaper price from Angolz. I can not wait to see and hold him. ;D

You are not a true and tested Voltes V fan. Why would you wait this long to get him? Hence, I shall send the Voltes team to intercept your package from HongKong for confiscation.
Regards, Dr. Hook

Regards, Dr. Hook [/quote] Yeah I know! Do you know the saying.."when it rains, it pours".. that is what's happening to me right now...Expense wise... but alas I have to give in, just because he is my all time favourite robot character, and I don't want to have any regrets not getting him at that low price.

Just got mine from darylcav (kudos). Definitely stands out compared the original version despite the flaws as described by members here. Not anime accurate, but who cares, right?

Nice pix Steve Armstrong. I've never been a Voltes fan - but following this thread, and seeing more and more of Voltes, I may take the plunge and get the Respect version. Thanks.

I finally actually looked at my GX-31Vs instruction book, lol! Did anyone notice the complete lack of the little back history info that used to be in all SOCs? Just...instructions. Did the 1st GX-31 have the story lesson in the book?

ULTRA MAGNUS, the white prime oh! eh.. too bad I don't have the white OP ;D I tried to do some "Butterfly return" pose--- from end of Episode 4... .... the butterfly return is the one where Voltes has to stop teh beast fighter's sword with his two hands... this one shows the clasp of hands closer... the Orig GX-31 can actually do it too... closer clasp of hands being together...

^^^ hmmm.. nice idea but if i can make a suggestion, better if you use the semi close hands, the new hands from gx-31v. its more suitable for butterfly catch action pose. but john, that ultra magnus is using tenkuken for slashing voltes himself. any idea to counter attack that part??? hahah
because, you know, to be killed with our own weapon is an eternal shame, specially for a sword master, except if harakiri / seppuku
