Cool backdrop. CDX featured the www.actionfiguredisplays.com backgrounds a lot. Look good for cheap. I gotta get some more of those Chain base stackables sets also. Okay, did I miss it, or where are the pics of GX53 next to the vintage diecast? Huh Huh??

Just got mine from the post office, 'escape' from the customs & duties. Yes!
Frist impression, very tall and heavy - great.
After so many 'small-lish' SOC release lately. Happy to see Bandai make him in this (big) size. With a old school design/style of Daitarn 3, it really needs this sort of size and weight to make him standout.

Dont torture yourself so much. I know its a good chunk of change, but better now than the aftermarket later. I got part one of my video review up on youtube..its processing, so check it out. I'm trying to be in depth as possible and it will probably make you wanna buy one

Congrats on your second Daitarn, 45. Just a headsup folks, I spoke with a good friend who got his Daitarn today (Sigh... I really need to get home and pick up mine) and he advises that when transforming to tank mode, "be sure to put magic tape on where the tank treads lock in on the waist area". Otherwise, the area might be prone to paint chipping. I have no idea which part exactly as we were only talking over the phone but I think it might be a good idea to keep an eye out for this. He was also the on who warned me about the paint chips on Daimos' waist when transforming to Tranzer. Gold

Well, I can't afford Daitarn right now, but I think I will get him eventually- at least to have just one huge SOC in my collection... visually, he looks like The Ultimate Toy we'd wanna find under a christmas tree ;D

There is also scuffing on that little hatch thing under the head on his back. The backpack rubs itself against that. That just means your having fun with your new toy

I was just watching your videos! before I even saw this post. How you managed to keep the review down to 3 parts is beyond me. I'm not even done with my video review and Im going into part 4!. I may hit 5 parts although I dont know if anyone is crazy enough to watch all 5 (maybe 6....that would make it one hour long). I really outdid myself for the diecast part of the review. I'm exhausted. I may have to retire after this one haha. NOT ;D
