Those chibi models are cool. I still gotta get one. There's a mini-Griffon on the way too!

it is pretty awesome. Good thing they are cheap! The build quality was good considering its price.
How is the WHAM Ingram? Haven't seen a review of it yet. The market for it is probably small since it's the same scale as the CM's one (which is excellent) and the CM's one is much cheaper nowadays.

I like the Andante pilot figure (Noa's alter ego in Shige's CLAT dream); looks really nice. Wish the toy came with those fancy backpack wings too (Godwood drive? Shige field?). That would've tipped me towards considering a purchase.

Looks like the 1/24 Command Car that was hinted at being made by a third party is finally going to come out: www.pairdot.net/index.php?itemid=58The car itself is a model kit, but the figures will be pre-painted (thank goodness). Really tempted to get this to go with my Ingram.

I bought the Yamato USA CLAT version on sale a couple of months ago and to be vey honest, I was completely amazed by the toy, to the point I regret not buying for full price on its original release.
The sense of wonder of holding it and using the gimmicks it brings compares to very few others for me.
And it completely blows the CM Corp Patlabor out of the water.

I bought both USA and Japanese version, totally agree on what you think.

The command car looks awesome! I love it (and I love that they're tipping their hat to the movie with Hiromi packing his stupid-big rifle from the movie!). Could've sworn there was top hatch that Kanuka was riding in during that chase scene though... was she really hanging off the side-step? Hmm... Gonna watch the movie again some time soon.
