Thank you for posting the photos. Awesome CLAT version, looks great. One thing I would like to ask (becasue I can't see too well in your photo...). Are the two metal tube painted in metal or blue in the CLAT version? Thanks

The head pistons are blue on the CLAT, molded in color

The head pistons are blue on the CLAT, molded in color Thanks for the reply. I wonder why they use blue color. The offical photo show they use " gun metal" color...

I can shoot some (bad) photos of the Ingram with the Yamato VOTOMS Scopedog if people like - they're fairly similar in size. The Ingram manages to be quite a bit better due to the virtue of better joints (despite some wobbliness, the Scopedog is definitely a more finicky figure, with some pretty questionable friction joints). Thanks for the insight quinjester. I'm really beginning to dig this figure. That CLAT version not bat at all, I like the shine in the paint, I might actually cave especially with the Sale price at HLJ.

Yeah, the sale prices on the CLAT makes it sooo tempting. 9800 yen for that thing is an absolute steal.

I recently purchased the 1/24 Patrol Car kit by Pit Road. It's got great detail but unfortunately requires a lot of painting. I've never painted any kits before and had to buy lots of painting supplies just for this project (spent more money on supplies than the kit!). I spent a lot of time yesterday painting and is now ~50% done. I'll post some pictures with the Yamato 1/24 Ingram once it's done. Man if Ingram 2 ever goes on sale, I'll have to pick him up, then I'll have almost the entire Patlabor team 2 all in 1/24 scale!

It's done (well, almost), just have some minor touch ups left. It's my first time painting a kit from scratch, so it has been quite a learning curve. I'm pretty happy with the results. It's far from perfect though. About the kit, it's from Pit Road, 1/24 scale. Comes with 4 figures (see pictures), I can't remember their English names. Asuma is in the car driving. All the figures are statues without any articulation (even up and down arms and turnable head like the Yamato Izumi would have been nice). I broke Asuma's left arm while trying to fit him in the cockpit. It's a very tight fit and in the process I broke the steering wheel too. Good thing about plastic kits is that you can just glue it right back up. The patrol car itself has got nice details, but the windows hinges are very fragile. The windows aren't really openable because they come right out when I try. Other than the figures, the four black tires and a few clear parts, everything comes in white sprues. So I had to paint every damn little piece, which is why it took so long. The kit does look very nice after many hours of work. The better the painter you are, the better the kit will look. Here comes the pictures! Enjoy. Interior: Bottom: Front: Almost done: First complete shot: Posing time with Yamato Ingram 1 and Izumi

Thanks guys for the compliments. You're right nyonk, Izumi does seem a little too small compared to the rest. It's probably a combination of her being petite and Yamato shrinking her to fit into the 1/24 ingram cockpit.

there i knew it... look at kanuka... she is huge compare to noa...
i have this feeling since i opened the ingram, i felt d*mn... is she too small? but i dont have any 1/24 figure for comparison.
aside of that, i love ingrams and feel completed with the command car.
thanks for posting locidm

Side note - Noah seemed about the right size to fit in my 1/24 Alternator/Binaltech figures, and she seemed the same general size as the 1/24 figure that came with my BT* Red Alert.
My knee-jerk reaction would be to say that the Pit Road figures are actually too large.

Thanks Quin for the info. Either way, the scale on the Yamato and Pit Road is a little off.
On another side note about the patrol car, the wheels on mine don't turn freely, so there is no rolling it across the table.
