Im too old to ride professionally now. You gotta be 18-25 to put up with the rigors of it AND have a ton of money or sponsors then you gotta tour so its not really something that I would be into anyway. Everything I do is "Streetfighter" oriented and I export Buell Parts to Buell and Harley club members in Brazil .. they cant get parts there. Here is a quick video I shot for a club member to let him hear my exhaust under mild throttle. The bike in this one is the 2007 XB9SX 984cc V-Twin, its a scrappy little bike and its quickly becoming a collectors item because they didn't make that many of them and a lot of them are slowly disappearing. In 10 years they will be very rare, like owning a Norton kinda. Only 1,000 of this edition and year were made and we think there are only 400 of the 2007 SX models on the street right now. A lot of them were ridden into the ground or wrecked.

Let's give Tom a break, we are all very passionate about this hobby and at the same time Tom has connections to HLPRO which turns him into a lightening rod since he is the only one we can b*tch at. Let's not forget Tom is a collector to and is giving us tips and info because he wants to not because he has to, sure he's a huge fan of the company but when did being a fan of something and supporting it become a bad thing. Yes Chen, but he also holds it over our heads,if we say anything against the company he threatens to leave, just like HLPro does with their Facebook account......btw Tom do even you consider yourself a collector? Just curious, you only post on this thread ,Ive never seen you anywhere else in this community besides this thread, you dont buy anything other than HLPro besides the 2 or 3 bandai things you own.Im being serious...are you a collector or consider yourself one? You also pointed out not having time for here or toys because you go cycling with your friends or whatever this time of year.Im really unsure of your motives,as to why you even are here, your certainly not thrilled with "the two of us" who you say are the only ones you talk to,or the other 4 guys you think are listening here..sure you review the toys once a year when one comes out from HLPro..but your definately not an active part of the community here as a whole,or even this section of the forum,JUST this thread .. I like having you here, but im not really sure where you stand?Sorry if this comes off the wrong way,but i am being genuine.. Darn, LOL! I hope no admin will ask me not to say this cuz it sounds "personal" but BARON just hit the ultimate truth! In fact, this thread has derailed from a Metaltech thread into a slavery @$$kissin' full of sh*t thread. That Thomas is NO COLLECTOR! The CEO of HL PRO - who treats his customers as if they are his slaves - either pays a salary or give toys for FREE to Tom for praising each 'n single HL PRO item no matter if it is good or bad. This thread has became disgusting! I will never forget how Tom came to this thread pointing at the average quality of Metaltech Gin Gin as the BEST figure in the universe and when I said it is not, I was banned from HL Pro facebook and received rude emails by HL Pro CEO. #Asskissing, #Cheesyness, #Manipulating = this thread as long as this Thomas keeps going 'n going 'n going! STOP and be fair. PS. And WTF is that talk about motorcycles? Write your dairy on your personal blog or the Break Time thread, not on the Metaltech action figures thread.

haa stop lying with that sh*t man.. "best in the universe"? na.. I just said it was good. Waleed you used to be like HLpros number one fan and you know it!.. and I collect, I just collect what I like and I like HLpro because to me it reminds me of the more vintage figures.. stop trying to make this thread more important that what it is.. Its a thread about TOY ROBOTS!! My life is not centered around toy robots.. they are cool but they are not EVERYTHING. If your lives are centered around TOY ROBOTS and TOY ROBOTS ONLY, you need to see a shrink. What about women? What about club life? What about cars and motorcycles?.. sheesn. SNAP OUT OF IT!

And WTF is that talk about motorcycles? Write your dairy on your personal blog or the Break Time thread, not on the Metaltech action figures thread. because there is no moderators on this thread.. you can basically just talk about whatever you want to talk about and I was talking to Baron... then you jump in out of nowhere.

ADMINS, please I request a creation of a new Metaltech thread by YOU on Robot-Japan, so, we could delete this sh*tty one after moving the necessary posts only and then let us stay on topic. Mr. Thomas thinks he owns his thread and perhaps he will soon post some photos of his laundry!

Just received a paypal payment notice from HL Pro for Metaltech 04 GinGin anime colors limitededition. I am not sure to pay for it (too bad for the usd 16 reservation). Despite good design and colors, hesitation comes now because of whole price (usd160), elbow design (visible ratchets), old engineering in fact... (and still this size problem vs SOCs)
Any feedback from those who got the regular version ?

It's not the most amazing robot, it definitely is limited in posing, but I love mine. not sure if I would have paid 160 for it. I think mine cost me 120, but it looks fantastic and has a great feel to it. My only complaint was that the saw blades came off too easy, but I heard they fixed that with the new on, right?

Lejam, I got mine too. I paid it because I still want a Gin Gin for my collection. I had not heard of any issues with the previous release (of course I did not read through the entire 177 pages either. Anything I should look out for specifically? All I heard when I preordered was it will likely take forever to get it. ;D Just received a paypal payment notice from HL Pro for Metaltech 04 GinGin anime colors limitededition. I just received my first Metal Tech toy - METALTECH 04: GIN GIN. It has a good weight and has reasonable articulation. The articulation isn't really a patch on the SRCs of course but its nice to have some enemy robots to pose with my SRC robots. I can't see the box surviving for very long however.
On a side note, the forums here have always been very well maintained and in on topic. As this is my first Metal Tech I haven't been very active in this forum. I hope that motorcycle stories, insults, and other behaviour that only serve to derail the focus and good maintenance that make Robot Japan special won't be a feature of for much longer.
We all have interests outside of our love of robots but its that love that brings us together to share here. Other interests and best shared in other places.

Agree. I like the Gin Gin. Like you said, it is not as well engineered as an SRC or SOC even, but it is a famous enemy robot - and there are not that many of those being produced. I can tell you that Gin Gin is FAR superior than Giru Giru. I don't think they even tried to make Giru Giru an articulated figure. It has basically the same articulation of a Jumbo Machinder... maybe even less. However, it does look good. Now just waiting on the Gattaiger, which should be here Monday or Tuesday of next week. Let's see if there were any improvements from the earlier Metaltechs... }D

Thank you for the feedbacks guys. I have to admit it has a good presence despite small design flaws... Size is... well... Metaltech/SRC size bust this time can fit a bit versus SOC Grendizer

I'm new to HL Pro figures. I have the Gin Gin (love it) and I'm thinking about getting Giru Giru.
I see there's a preorder for another release of the GinGin and Giru Giru. Are they different from current releases?

That was quick! got reply from HIGH DREAM CORPORATION - HL PRODUCT, all is good they will update on shipping in my Paypal once it's ready to ship. My initial concern was Giru-Giru was released like several years back so $99 sounds too good to be true especially it's limited to 300 pcs. Will post update when I receive the bot
