HI supergetterv. The Danguard Ace will be a gift. I am still an SOC purist by heart and I will never change!
My non-SOC's are relegated to my non glass case area. Basically, these are the not-so-wanted toys that kids can play with when we get visitors. Danguard will reside there (too bad he will never be allowed in the case, precious real estate there and I don't want contamination).

1. Yamato Dangarc Ace $215 2. Cm's Red Alpha. $125? 3. CM's Brave Chogokin Gohkin $125? 4. Soc gx 43 DIMOS diecast $165 5. Soc GX 42 Koutetsushin Jeeg $90 6. Soc GX 41S Brave Raideen $165 7. SOC GX-40 Godmars $180 ... I think i did pretty good in keeping the toy cost low this year. If those are in US dollars then no you did not keep toy costs low this year.

With all the new bots coming out and their prices, I think it's getting quite impossible to keep costs low.....unless you don't buy anything!!

woah I'm totally envious. I think the biggest amount I ever bought toys was the year I got Fewture getter 1,2,3 and godannar.
Sadly I've cut back a lot. I think this year I've only bought Transformers animated Grimlock and Bulkhead. No SOC's. Although I think Reideen and Shin Mazinger would deffinitely be purchased in the future.

The problem is that more toys are being released and there are many more toys over the $150 mark than ever before. I see from my own buying patterns that prior to 2007, the vast majority of my purchases were under $100 (shipping included). But since 2007, nothing has been under $100.
