YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is why I LOVE Tamashii Nations!!! Rescuing me from MF imposed Big O deprivation! IF its an SOC that's freakin' awesome! If it's a Robot Damashii, that's awesome too, cause it means we'll get Big Duo and Big Fau as well... and dare I hope for Beck robo?! This coupled with the Teknoman SPEC have really been some great news!
Actually, it does mention "Soul of Iron" in the description, so it'll probably be an SOC!!

If it says Soul of Iron then it is going to be an SOC. The did the same with IDEON, IRON GEAR, and just recently with the Shin Mazinger.
2009 is going to be AWESOME!!!

;D
But this might be the reason Max hasn't been able to release their Big O...which is kinda sad. The Max Gokin figure is really beautiful...it'd be a shame if it doesn't make it to production.
Is it possible that Bandai just bought the sculpt from Max Factory to release in the SOC line?

Is it possible that Bandai just bought the sculpt from Max Factory to release in the SOC line? I doubt it, licensing in Japan is different than in North America, companies usually give out/sell rights to many different companies at once. That's why we get so many figures of the same character by so many different companies. Plus Bandai is about a hundred times larger than MF so I doubt they would have to or want to use someone else's design. MF could release it after Bandai's version if they think there's a market. Could be their letting Bandai test the waters first.

Don't think it's the MF one, the proportions on the silhouette look a little bit different.... besides, MF announced their Big O like 2 years ago so they've had plenty of time if they wanted to do it.

Ultimate win! Can't wait to see what this will be.
Crossing my fingers for a nice diecast piece with some fun but unobtrusive gimmicks.

Recently bizzio is becoming the master of fresh-new News , Thank you very much for sharing your info and please keep it up !! thank you adiru That's why he's got the monicker of "Drool Inducer." He simply makes us drool with updates such as these! ;D Anywhoo, whether it's MF or Bandai, Big-O is certainly something that will be welcomed by all. If MF is just waiting for Bandai to test the waters for them, and If they can't top whatever Bandai will come up with, then they've just shot themselves in the foot. Thanks for the update Biz!

It is a good news that Bandai is making Big O since MF is not going to do it.

A quick search reveals that Tamashii Nation '09 is March 26-29...this weekend. Does that mean the first images could start trickling out as soon as Thursday?
Exciting!

This is exciting. Big O is such a unique design, it's a nice break from the traditional robots. If this is an SOC I would love a GX-44S type set with the Big Fau, another awesome and unique design.
