Ehm, sorry for exposing Dizer's @$$ in such a way ;D but... Do your GX-04 figures also have the red paint cutting his butt like that? It's imperfection that Bandai did not paint this little part that complete his missile belt (yes, Grendizer carries missiles in his tummy like Great Mazinger but they were never used till our day).

Hmmm, I might try to use a soft sandpaper and paint it if I can find the same color-tone (which seems hard to find). It is really annoying to see such a flop in a SOC figure! Bandai shows no respect to the King of Space! Darn.

Lighten up it's just a toy plus it did come out over 11 years ago, nobody knew the SOC line would become this large and prestigious.

Bandai shows no respect to the King of Space! Darn. i think your getting a bit to serious for something like that saying "Bandai has no respect to the King of Space!", I will have to check mine to see if its complete because his in spazer mode at the moment. Beside, is what Chen has said, is a figure that has been out over 11 years ago plus the reissue that chogokinabdul said that came out in 2008 so we can't just expect to see it in a high detail quality like the SRC or the newer SoC models. true would been nice to see it complete to unifie the look, but those are little things that i can let it pass as long as is not something that you can spot it immediately like example the face( remember GX-01 MZ, ugh thats a horrible face).

Haha, yeah, I need to check my GX-04 as well, but right now it is stored away in a box somewhere. And yes, the GX-01 has a horrible face, but it was the sweetest thing to me when I first got it in 1997... }D

Bandai shows no respect to the King of Space! Darn. i think your getting a bit to serious for something like that saying "Bandai has no respect to the King of Space!", I am not taking it too serious! I said the phrase in a sarcastic way. I will not commit suicide because of this unpainted @$$ ;D Relax, guys. However, to speak frankly, I love accuracy in any work. I don't see a reason they left this part unpainted! Also, we are not talking about a children toy for $15 USD! It's an adult collectible item that costs and also it has a great moral value to Grendizer fans in the Middle East & Europe, and we pay attention when we see such a flaw or when they give Grendizer silly points in a card game (I will not get over it). I hope nobody judges me for this post, because it is like 'religion'. You cannot force people to follow Islam, Christianity or Judaism unless they beleive in it with mind & heart. So, avid UFO Robo Grendizer fans have a belief and see Grendizer as the king of all super robots and pays much respect to this series. Others look at Mazinkaiser or even Bumblebee the same way! So did I make a point here? Peace.

Here is what to do with your gx-04 to help him out O.....M.....G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is the best Grendizer Custom ever!!!. I wish his leg had more articulation like the SRC but i understad the limits it had with the figure in some cases=D. I love the proportions, much better than bandai's thats for sure. however i have some questions: - why the new head mold? - can it still combine with the spazers?

yea, i just notice it does not have the hole on his back so i guess it could still combine with the regular Spazer but not the other 3. but at any case its a nice custom figure, it remidns me a lot of the marmit version. =D

It gain 2 cm in height, I don't think it can combine with the Spazer.

I wouldn't worry about it being able to combine with the spacer. If the owner wants it to combine, I'm sure he is more than capable of modifying the Spacers to be able to do so.

I feel dumb while writing this, but as a matter of an advice for those who don't know: - please avoid the contact of any type of adhesives with the GX-04 paint, specially with the red areas! The thing is, that little protective transparent piece of tape on the red arc-like part of GX-04's foot was loosing its glue. So, I thought I can re-stick it using UHU but "yucks!" UHU started to melt the red paint of my lil' Dizer's foot Anyway, with patience I managed to retouch the scr*wed up spot I did goodly + stick that lil' annoying protective piece as well! Just be careful with the SOC paints, guys. Cheers!

I thought of this, before I use the UHU, but preferred to keep the original protective transparent tape since it still had its half stick on Dizer's foot...It's just that I never thought UHU would do such damage to the paint!

LOL... at least now you have first hand experience in restoring your collection. Would you care to share on your restoration method and what kind of paint you use? I need to do a little touch up on some of my figures as well.
