Oh, hell yeah! Gotta love BTG! Fantastic figure that one. It is simply killing me that Yasuhiro Nightow is going to be at Anime Expo this year! Here's my Gazelle The Peacemaker from back in the day. Click the photo to check out the rest of the pics from my Trigun X Gungrave Crossover!!= Later on I'll have to post up some of my figs from Tiger Mask! Great thread and cool pics, man! I've always loved the packaging on that fig.

The is a Gazelle The Peacemaker at an old comic store the next town over from me. I just could not bring myself to spend $50 for it.

$50 is a lot of money, but compared to the original Japanese MSRP of around $80 it's not so bad. You would have been hard pressed to find one when they were new for less than $50, and ebay seems to still be asking a lot, especially the overseas retailers. Who's going to pay $199 plus $23 shipping for this!?

Some quick pics. Virtual On Trigun Preach among Jesus(s) GGG Robot Museum figures among Revoltechs Evas among Revoltech Evas. The very awesome Robot Museum Jinki Extend mecha. This is the only robot museum figure that is of this size. The rest became smaller. I had wished they made more like this one, this figure has some of the best looking poses and weapons of most of my figures.

These figures were also Sculpted by Yamaguchi. I collect revoltechs for the sculpts and price point. The joints don't sell me on them so much.

Oh, how could I forget to mention the Moribito from Jinki when we were talking about Kaiyodo releases before! I've been meaning to pick one of those up since it was first released, maybe I should track one down soon...
ADV managed to lose the rights to both the J:E manga and anime, but FUNimation has the anime now. Hopefully someone will be nice enough to re-license the J:E manga and both it's prequel and sequel manga. At least I've got two of ADV's manga releases to hold me over... I have no idea why I'm bringing this up.

Man, oh, man. Jinki Extend. I have a Morribito Type 2 sitting in my case right now. That was/is an awesome figure. So here's my Lionman, which understandably so, no one will remember since it's from an anime no one has seen. Ah well, the figures were very cool. I'll post some pics of my MIP Tiger Mask fig later. Here's the really cool intro to the show. No Lionman though.

Wooww!! Cool collections sirs! I knew Kaiyodo did so many cool mechas prior to Revoltech series, but this caught me by surprise. . Admitedly, i didnt know they were doing the clear versions before.. I saw the blue 00, red02, and translucent 01. One thing i always wanted to buy but never get to was the diorama of the Mass Prod. Eva devouring the mangled Eva 02.. I happen to watch the Tiger wrestling show a few days ago here in KSA, it was dubbed in Arabic. I thought to myself "Oh so King of Tekken video game have a classic anime? LOL!! " Also whatever happen to monseur bome?

no one will remember since it's from an anime no one has seen You don't need to know the anime to know who Tiger Mask is, the anime and manga spawned a series of real life wrestlers who use the name Tiger Mask (under license ). Admitedly, i didnt know they were doing the clear versions before.. I saw the blue 00, red02, and translucent 01. There's also a glow in the dark Unit 01 which was an SDCC exclusive just like the Revoltech version (I've got both, but my version of the larger one fell off the shelf and snapped the left hand off a few years back. ) I've got one, he's quite nice, definitely worth tracking down. The movie version of 02 that came out at the same time is also really nice, making a few improvements that sadly started and ended with it. I think King is intended to be a cross between Tiger Mask and Guin from Guin Saga. It's an epic series of Japanese light novels running 126 volumes (plus several side stories as of the authors recent death), two manga series, and an anime currently airing. In fact, Guin is often referred to as "King". What I wouldn't do for some Guin Saga figures. Give me Guin, Istvan, and someone for them to fight and I'll be happy! Maybe after the FotNS Revo stuff is over, that would be nice... Emerje

In terms of sculpting, Kaiyodo was like the McFarlane Toys of Japan...back when McFarlane did stuff OTHER than Halo and Sports.

Nope I never seen any of those, but funny seeing a connection between this and the Tekken King!
I have both movie versions of eva 02 and Mass produced eva and they were fantastic! I really loved the paint job on MP that semi translucent pearl was simply beautiful. I will have to take pictures of my displayed collection!

Honestly, Old Eva figures beat the hell out of any revoltech version I have seen. I thought I had some comparison photos. I need to find them. I found an old photo with JE and VO.
