This is one bad-ass SOC. If you had told me at the beginning of this year that my most anticipated release would be the Shin Getter Dragon, I would've probably laughed. Not anymore. Now if we could only get Bandai to release his brothers.... ...and an SOC Neo Getter

If its based on the GX-45 it's a tad smaller than normal SOCs It is hard to tell by the pictures, but it may also use the Tetsujin-28 GX-44's joint system, and that SOC has a pretty good size. }D

Whoa!
That pose just got me sold! ;D ;D ;D
Question... why the sudden change in sizes for the SOCs to "kiddie" size?
Poor Economy? Not Enough SOCs selling? Dwindling supply of minerals to make Chogokin? An Act of God?

Nah it's still larger then the average "base" SOC, if it is 190mm then it'll still be taller than Great Mazinger, Grendizer, etc.

Will the cross arms Getter dragon be available regularly or just a expensive limited? I highly doubt that, but wont be too surprising, Maybe make the crossed armes packaged separately and made an online exclusive.

Nah I'm pretty sure it will come with the regular release, I'm means it's just one piece of plastic of pre-folded arms. Bandai just seems to break up the high priced items with online exclusives first to gauge interest then offers it later as a mass produced item.

That picture really makes it look like he's floating, pretty neat effect. This is the Getter Dragon version I've been waiting for. Till now you'd have to settle for a resin garage kit to get it. Has there been any indication that it will include the jetship form like GX-18 did (what is it called Star Dragon)?

I have seen the Getter "Armageddon" series, and I do not reall what the Shin Getter Dragon's brothers look like......or do I? Can someone refresh my memory? Where they as great looking a the Getter Dragon? Or in other words, how different will 2 & 3 look from, say, the GX-19 and GX-20?

They're not as dramatically different as Dragon is to their "brothers" except with some minor color changes. For instance, Liger's lower body is blue instead of red, and Poseidon's hands are yellow instead of black. Liger is still thin, but Poseidon is a little beefier.
