Lets start a thread for advertizing tidbits on vintage bots. I know a good deal of the ad work is pulp and TV.... but my intent here is to see some other mediums.
I'll post some pics later, but for instance does anyone have poster photos to share?
Heck, are there any physical ad setups that you guys have?

Just scanned this one here. Maybe something for the robot-japan-archive. Found this one in my Bullmark Rockbat Meka Machine box...holy grail catalog! I also have a german Mattel 1979 Catalog with lots of Shogun Warriors stuff....I scan it later.

it might be the same, the seller had this one as Original 1978 Poster ad in the description, so i thought it was poster size, but when i got it earlier, it looks like from a magazine catalog pulled out and preserved. but im having my doubts... for a paper that was printed at '78... the paper doesnt smell old and is still glossy. but still, a good one to frame and hang on the wall.

I normally don't buy stuff like this, but I couldn't resist these. Pretty damn cool. Excuse the pics, as I don't have a scanner at the moment (yeah, I'm in the stone age ;D) Seller said she sent away for them and received them in May 1978 (on the back of one of them it is marked 5/78). They arrived stapled together in the corner. I'll have to find out if Marukai sent them like that, or she did it afterwards. BTW, anyone know what that Space Station Cruiser is on the Mekanda sheet? Priciest toy on the list but don't think I've seen it before.

Oh man, these are awesome! It seems that Marukai carried more than I originally thought. Is it too late to order a Boltes Five?

Man, I LUV the look of them toys in that catalog! Japanese toys have got to be the Best-lookin toys on Earth, because of their strikingly vivid colors and asymetric shapes! ;D
Thanks for showin off! ;D
