Yes, in the Anime Tekkaman Blade II the antagonist is a gay/transexual Tekkaman whose name is Tekkaman Dead... like Levin in Tekkaman Blade. Very powerful Tekkaman...

Very powerful Tekkaman... }D While I remember Tekkaman dead being a "transsexual" looking person I don't remember him being gay or in any relationships. Nevertheless, Tekkaman II should be avoided like the plague. ;D |

I'm on the road once again, but Tekkaman Blade looks basically the same. Maybe a Google of Tekkaman Dead will come up with some pics of him(her).

I really don't care for any of the Tekkaman Blade II characters, as they all sucked. What I would love to see is Tekkaman Axe, Tekkaman Lance, and Tekkaman Sword see the light of day. Even a Tekkaman Sol would be cool. Unfortunately, I don't think a Tekkaman Omega will ever get made because of its huge size...
I hope to see all these Tekkaman in action figure form in my lifetime, and I don't care which companybmakes them as long as the action figures are excellent in appearance and super articulated. ;D

you forgot tekkaman dagger!! well we got rapier so maybe we get the others too. I would love a tekkaman sol though that didnt look like a block as the kit did.
I would prefer these to be in shfiguarts line though because i could care less about heavy removable armor weighing my figures down.

Ok just got in my Rapier!! and I tell you one thing....... its no armor plus!! Maybe the rumors of an shfiguarts tekkaman are true because thats exactly what this is!!Which is both good and bad. Good because all armor is fused to figure so no worries about parts falling off. Also no diecast armor (all armor aside from shins is ABS, feet are diecast though which is common place with SHF!) to weigh figure down during poses so should easily be held up by tamashii stand. Only problem is, the figure has lots of pointy armor which gets caught up in itself limiting movement. It also makes me fear that the pointy parts could easily be broken.... i would of actually wanted PVC for these parts for durability purposes.
The armor i beautifully painted in metalics so it has a nice shine to it.
Now whats bad?!?! 6300yen is a bit much for a SHfiguartrs. Its also false advertisement as its not an armor plus figure at all.
Im not mad because i think this is the way all of the tekkaman should be but they should false advertise and the price should of been lower.......... then again it is a TWE so.... whatever.
I do like the figure though

Thanks for the feedback MJ. Interesting to hear that Rapier has non-removable armor. Personally I think that was a good move on Bandai's part because lets face it, the armor is never coming off unless we the collectors are going to be put it back in the box. In fact, I kind of wish these were just straight up chogokins, no fuss or parts falling off.

Since me and maybe ten other people who give a damn about Tekkaman Blade may be happy to see this. SOL TEKKAMAN!!! While Sol tekkaman 2 (green one) is known to be a tamashii web, sol tekkaman 1 may be a normal release. Don't quote me on it, but I have a good feeling will be able to get him from all of our normal retailers.   |
