Looks cool, but seeing that it doesn't actually transform it could actually be better. I don't like the parts on the sides that are hiding the shoulder joints or those little bits above them that look like they should be connected to something. It's a pity it can't be disassembled because I've seen other similar customs that can and look just as great.
A brand new release from FansProject. This company never fails to impress. The toy looks great in all three modes, has diecast and is a scratch built toy rather than an add-on to an existing Transformer toy.
Warbot stands roughly 6" tall and has diecast chest plates and certain parts of the leg armor. Almost every joint is ratcheted on this toy.
His handguns can be stored in this legs, though they are a bit loose.
Armored vehicle mode.
Sword can be stored underneathe.
Even though there's no actual display stand, Fansproject did include an accessory that one can use to plug into Gundam action bases to suspend the copter in mid-air.
A really great toy except for one flaw, the heel is a bit too small, so the toy tends to fall backwards easily when in robot mode. But generally it can hold a lot of good poses.

Awesome Gold! I thought that this time, the armored car mode is cooler than the chopper. A minor nitpick, but I thought that the helicopter's cockpit should've been made of clear parts. Still a very commendable effort, and I hope that they produce other "improved" versions of iconic character.
Considering that the only "official" Transformers that have any amount of diecast is the mega bucks MP's I think Fansproject deserves a huge hazzah!
Well, there's also the Titanium line, but quite frankly the less said about that, the better. Also the Binaltech line (good!) and Alternity line (also very good!), but those were/are collector oriented Japanese lines, much like the MP line.
I'm so sick of being disinterested in something and then when I finally get around to deciding I want one, it becomes insanely rare! (The Fansproject stuff seems to sit around for months and then just when I decide I want something, they don't even show up on eBay that often)....
I know - BBTS is the place I was thinking of when I posted that last message: the Shadow Commander set was available as a bundle with Nemesis Prime for months... but for some odd reason, I just happened to decided to look it up this past month and it's sold out (I did manage to secure a Nemesis Prime, maybe I'll get one of the other unofficial accessory sets to spruce him up a bit).
