However, I notice you didn't mention ANY Mazinger in your wishlist... that breaks my heart! }D I'll mention it for him... Mazinger. ;D zozo-Magengar yup i didn't... ;D ;D ;D i also wish for a re-issue of aoshima japan version limited, same design with gold old chrome contrasted with black arms and legs, but with red wings, 2 chrome swords and a better paint job with the kaiser mouth (like the one they did with the purple version). for me that will be a perfect aoshima kaiser..... you know, its okay you don't have any interest for an Aoshima Mazinger... just like I have zero interest for another Aoshima Mazinkaiser, even if they added everything you mention to it. Everyone has different tastes... }D

well if aoshima is gonna do another figure, please don't make another Mazinkaiser, Shin Getter, Neo Getter, Getter Robo, Black Getter, New Getter Robo and Shin Getter Robo 2 recolors, just no more. Make the other fors of Getter 2 and 3 that we are missing, specially for Neo Getter, New Getter and Shin Getter which Shin Getter is only missing Shin Getter 3.

I've supported Aoshima ENOUGH by dropping well over a grand into their diecast lineup. Some people have that easily doubled or even tripled.
They need to support themselves a little bit better by investing in some new designs.
But also, it is a crappy economy & they might just be pulling back for a while.
We tend to forget that Aoshima is originally---and still mostly----a model car company. The bulk of their sales has always been in rc & plastic model cars. The Shin Seiki Gokin line has always been lower down on their priority list. Right now it looks like they're trying to get in on the lucrative Moe genre with the Mobip line, but I think Figma is about to stomp 'em hard on that.
I think they have the talent and the resources to regain their part of the Gokin marketshare, they just have to want it bad enough. We've ALL supported them enough. It's up to them, really.

I wonder how well Shin Getter 2 sold? Must be not very well. That is why we still yet to see Aoshima release Shin Getter 3...

I don't know. Shin 1 sold well. Well enough for them to release a ridiculous number of repaints. And yet we had to wait seven years for them to make Shin 2.

Perhaps all that waiting was well worth it, considering the fine sculpt and quality of Aoshima specimens. zozo-Magengar

An authoritative source told me that they will try to make the G3, if all goes well.

Since Bandai already release the SOC 'Getter 1' and 'Getter Dragon' from Shin Getter TV series. Does Aoshima still has 'Shin Getter' lincense/right to make new toys?

yes ... aoshima shin getter three is what we need .... but how about some other characters from the mazinkaiser franchise!! we had mazinkaiser & ankoko dai shogun.... how about venus ace OVA version?... how about a non combining kotetsu shin jeeg?... there is a lot that aoshima can do!!

Aoshima can also release the original Jeeg if they have the license. It has a big fan base too.

;D yeaaaaah .... with the amount of die cast that aoshima puts in their products I can imagine how an old classical jeeg will look like !!! stunning!! but this is can't be done since I think that takara holds the original license of original jeeg

Ya never know... maybe someday both companies will go to bed together, and we'll see crazy results. ;D zozo-Magengar ...but this is can't be done since I think that takara holds the original license of original jeeg

ahhh .... cool ... some one actually still remember this thread
well ... I don't know but I feel we have to do some thing so that aoshima get back to action!!! there products are not perfect I know ... but they just have a solid different taste!! they are so good and brick solid!! I mean shin getter 2 was awesome ... I love that toy and I can only imagine if bandai decided to do such a robot fr the SOC line:
it will look awesome with tones of accessories - it well be smaller in size than the aoshima one - it well be lighter in die cast content !! maybe like raideen!!
so god bless aoshima for their effort to bring us the different taste of gokin beauty.
now about getting them back to action!! how about we start a petition or some thing to show that their shin seiki gokin line is still popular !! it is just their choices that set the fans off !!

I totally agree that Aoshima do make some fantastic (heavy and solid) toys! I would love to add black getter to my collection. But it´s very difficult to support the "repaint" trend they have started ... I mean how many color variations of Mazinkaiser are out there?! If they can start to produce a bit more than just color variations, then yes I am ready to place an order!
