I'm curious about the Tekkaman + Pegas combo - Compared to the Bandai SOC Spec, the Pegas design is radically different. What's the story on that (totally in the dark on the story and anime...)? This one is based on the original Tekkaman show from 1975. The others are from Tekkaman Blade, which was a reboot of the original series released in 1992. The designs were changed for the newer show (the new designs are not to my liking).

I am not liking the transforming jeeg head.... Reason? Because five bucks says its going to be the first thing to break CMS included the non transforming head... it's your choice to use the transforming head or not. Personally, I think it's cool that CMS even included that option, showing their attention to details and gimmicks for the fans. This one is based on the original Tekkaman show from 1975. The others are from Tekkaman Blade, which was a reboot of the original series released in 1992. The designs were changed for the newer show (the new designs are not to my liking). I see. That's why the design is so radically different, with the original Pegas being more rounded and the newer Pegas being more angular. Thanks for clarifying! My only gripe with the SOC-Spec Pegas is that Bandai didn't include a simple joint on Tekkaman head that will allow the antennae to rotate, allowing no head swap requirement to place Tekkaman inside Pegas. Otherwise, the figure is rock solid, although lacking in crotch articulation. Hopefully the CMS Tekkaman / Pegas combo is as solid as the SOC-SPec version.

Does anyone that owns an SOC KoutetsuShin Jeeg display it with the transformable head? I know I don't. But it is still an option...

Yo, the detail on that guy's project JEEG looks friggin Tight! Very well proportioned to itself in Height, Weight, and Body mass. If I were a hardcore JEEG fan, I'd definitely go after it. The reason why I wouldn't go after it is because the Jeeg action figures have soooooo many accessories... not enough space on my shelf to display Jeeg with all his gear. Also, with having sooooo many accessories, comes the Price of the figure... I can't afford it yet. Of course, I shouldn't talk that nonsense- just set aside some change every week, save up, and get him... ...I'd do the same for the DX/Godhead Sphinx version SOC Raideen; so then why not for Jeeg! ;D Thanks for the heads-up and pics! zozo-Magengar

Consider bought! Really wish there will be a limited edition set with all the sky parts, marine parts & earth parts. With such an extensive release on Baratak, it would be a shame if Jeeg doesn't get the same treatment. Jeeg is a very special bot for me, so the more perfect the accessories come the better. And other than Yujin's PVC non-posing action figure set, no figure or gokin release has gone so far to release those parts. Please make it happen CM's!

If Bandai won't make a SOC version then I'm getting this but dear God I hope it's under $200, in reality it should really be a $120 figure at the most. I just hope the joints aren't sloppy and that CM gas learned something from it's past two magnetic releases.
