Hmmm!! Quite like it at first glance.......but not too keen on those shoulder joints and huge forearms. The Colours are awesome....but knowing CM's probably a limited metallic version will be on the way. Even though not perfect this is going to be a must have for me!!!

Ohhh crud! I seriously hope Cm's did some sort of smart way of properly designing the magnet joints to work better, strong magnets just aren't enough (Barattack's knees were a mess!), with the Jeeg, the ankle joints now also made of magnets. Gold

Looking at the pictures, I don't think the Jeeg is going to be able to achieve extreme poses like for example, the GX-45. It will probably be as posable as the Takara Kotetsu Jeeg...

The question that comes to my mind is exactly how tall this thing is going to be?
Will it rival Takara's and Bandai's height or is it more in line with the recent Baratack?
Though its sculpting is tempting I don't see anything else it has to offer outside what Takara already has save for the transforming pilot & the non-transformable pilot figure, literally a couple of weapons.
Since it does come with the horse and based on CM's other releases this will likely be priced at around the $260 mark.
The proto type pics of Tekkaman & the Neo Getters look promising I hope they get made,

What is the red figure on the right of the Jeeg head. I don't recognize it?

That's Hiroshi before he transforms into Jeeg's head. I believe he transformed that way during the second part of the series

Indeed. That is his first cyborg form.

Is it just me or do those Gaikings look transformable? Separate ships? Gaiking the Great? I wonder... ^^ It's already been confirmed that if/when these come out you will be able to form Gaiking the Great.

Now that I get a better look at it, for me I think the sculpt is a little off. I think the hips and legs maybe a little to wide, I prefer a slimmer/sleeker looking Jeeg. Still gonna buy this anyways.

I've always thought that classic Jeeg's proportions are a little bit odd... This prototype model seems to capture it perfectly.
Needs the other parts, tho. Including Panzeroid.

Yeah it seems to capture the original anime look but I still think the old KT Jeeg was the best looking sculpt ever. Jeeg is probably the closest you can have to a human type body so I like the slimmer legs with the bigger shoulders and arms and a slimmer waistline. Still it's just one picture so it's too early to start speculating.
Also wasn't there another Jeeg figure being made or was that just a custom? I can't seem to remember now but I do remember seeing a prototype standing next to GX-01R.

Gaiking the great like promising, hope that it a prefect combination, just like the Studio halfeye gaiking, but CM's stuff pricing always at the high side. 40 to 50 % more than SOC..

Cannot wait for Gaiking the Great. I hope it's not IF, but rather WHEN it is released. CM's plastic/PVC versions were good, but a Gokin-y Gaiking the Great would be Good.

I'm not loving the proportions on this Jeeg that much. Why not just go with the Takara versions? BTW, new gallery items are up for the various Takara Jeeg reissues: robot-japan.com/category/takara-2.html ;D The Gaiking looks real nice, especially the first figure. I really dig the chest skull design.

Is it just me or do those Gaikings look transformable? Separate ships? Gaiking the Great? I wonder... ^^ Well if a newbie company, such as Most Wanted can do a 19 inch transforming Neo Gaiking, I'm sure CM's won't have a problem doing their Gaiking version as a transformer....but you're going to pay....likely about $400 for the lot of 3 in addition to their likely "punty" size. I still think that Most Wanted's GDX transforming set, though far from perfect is the best Neo Gaiking toy in town before and after CM's release....and it won't cost you anywhere near CM's price. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- KingboyD: Agreed I'd go with the re-issued Takara versions as well particularly since both the Horse & Jeeg could be had for under $100

Please follow up for us, cuz the photos were deleted from the website and the facebook account. The photos had to be removed as they still haven't got the rights for him, and until everything is finalised they were advised to remove the pics of the prototype. To be honest I liked the proportions of that prototype more then the CM's one.
