The CM's Jeeg really set the bar for other companies. Maybe not so much as to do with the figure's design, die cast content, or even quality, but more on how the Jeeg franchise was run. CM's not only gave you a magnetic, anime accurate, die cast rendition of the classic Kotetsu Jeeg character. No, they also gave you the Big Shooter, an Option Parts set to recreated the Air/Land/Sea Jeeg configurations, and then topped it off with an awesomely sculpted fixed-pose figure of Queen Himika. Really, what else can a Kotetsu Jeeg fan ask for? ;D

It was almost $400! That's considered a good price these days? Why didn't you guys pre-order it when it came out? It wasn't that long ago... }D

Its a "good" price when you compare to what he's going for on Ebay. I wasn't really interested in the character at the time and really was moving away from gohkin figures. But VV brought me back to this forum and reignited my interest in them.

everything is good price when you compare them to ebay. I learn to stay away from comparing to ebay price, but rather i use the "online" prices to compare to those ebay prices instead.

I think its really stange that the CM Jeeg is clearly a well made, unique gokin but has not been reviewed by any of the top reviewers - tj, charles, chachipower/joshb/CDX, etc. When I google, all I find are reviews in Italian Why is this? really strange...

Here is a word of sincere advise - All magnetic jointed figures are floppy when compared to regular jointed ones. The SOC Koutetsushin Jeeg has the advantage of being diecast, but that advantage also works against it due to the extra weight on the magnetic joints. The Evolution Toy Koutetsushin Jeeg is almost the same way as the SOC, but it is all plastic with the exception of the steel spheres and magnets. Being all plastic gives it the advantage of holding poses better than the heavier SOC, but don't think for one second that because it is plastic is NOT going to be almost as floppy (as the SOC). Now, the ET Koutetsushin Jeeg does have a huge advantage over the SOC, and that is the amount of accessories it comes with, AND the extra HUGE Bazooka you can get for it. The biggest disadvantage for the ET Koutetsushin Jeeg... it's price tag! Hope this helps. }D
