Please follow up for us, cuz the photos were deleted from the website and the facebook account. The photos had to be removed as they still haven't got the rights for him, and until everything is finalised they were advised to remove the pics of the prototype. To be honest I liked the proportions of that prototype more then the CM's one. I agree with you. Zona prototype looks better, but feels like the CM's come with more accessories.

Oh for the love of..!!! Why is CM stuff so damn expensive? I can understand the quality and amount of accessories but come on! Why can't they just release a single figure with minimal accessories along with a deluxe edition. Bandai would. On a positive note Jeeg does look better in these pics but I just can't afford a 20,000YEN+ AFTER discounts toy when there are cool SOC's coming soon and Macross Frontier fighters I want.

Even that is $231. I have never spent more than $200 for a robot yet. I like it, but I don't know if I like it that much. The good thing is that I don't see any robots on the horizon that I am anxious to get.

Ordered! Now have my fingers crossed that there will be a add on set later on with the other Sky, Marine, & Earth parts and the Big Shooter.

I'm sure the diecast content will be minimal again. Also, the figure itself will most likely be on the tiny side of the spectrum. But hey, it sure looks good!

Usually brave gokin figures have good amounts of diecast where they make sense and don't interfere with stuff. Since its a rather simple design I imagine it to have a good amount

Looks like they added some teeth on the shoulder connection, adding grip/friction on top of the magnet to the shoulders to help holding the arms up without drooping down. Sounds like a smart move. Hope it was executed well and does what it was intende. Can't wait for this set! Its like my long yearning dream is finally coming true, ever since I have the Takara reissue more than 10 years ago.
2011 is a painfully good year for us gokin collectors.

I believe it's around 16cm. Any idea if we'll be seeing a limited metallic edition any time soon?

I wonder if it'll be in scale with the GX-42 Kotetsu shin Jeeg. If so I might have to get this guy. If not I'll wait for Bandai to release him eventually.

At 16cm it is pretty much to scale with Bandai's Koutetsushin Jeeg.

I want this, but it is very expensive... However, I don't really like the shoulder joint design, it just looks odd.
