Seems that they learned from the balatack issues and are trying new ways to improve the magnetic joints.

I don't know why it is so hard for these companies to make good magnetic joints. I have the Takara Jeeg, three Micronaut Baron Karzas, and two Micronaut Force Commanders and the magnetic connections in the hips and shoulders are SUPER strong. However, the same magnetic connection points in the new Bandai Koutetsushin Jeeg and CM's Gakeen are way weaker. Could it be that the use of such strong magnets in toys is no longer allowed??? I fail to see any other reason why...

Whoa!! I didn't expect this to hit in May, kinda sudden. I can't say I like the Spring release buttons on the forearms. Kinda wished they made a seperate set of "gimmick" arms instead like the Gx-01/R. Gold

The feet and legs look a little weird as well. It doesnt look like you can get alot of movement out of those knee joints if any at all. Theres alot of positives and negatives with this guy. So I just dont know.

Glad to see that Jeeg parts will combine very well with Gakeen parts. My Gakeen is waiting patiently for his arrival. Now where are the other terrain parts & Big Shooter?

Well, CM's came out with a Power Up set for the GaoGaiGar, so maybe they will do the same with Jeeg and include the Big Shooter... but I wouldn't hold my breath. If it was a Bandai release, I would immediately think those parts could become a Tamashii exclusive set, which would suck, but at least it would happen. CM's doing something like that is doubtful at best... }D

The question is how many Jeeg fans are really out there, to warrant a add-on set release. I am definitely in for it, but from the look of discussions and feedback, Jeeg is not necessary a popular bot somehow (even though it is very high on my list, more so than Mazinger I might add). I do hope such a set is available, as CM's went so extensive with the Gakeen set & Baratak set. It would be a shame that Jeeg won't have those parts. If CM's go for it, it would be the first Jeeg magnet toy ever that carries the full set.

Haha, totally unrelated comment here but, there's no Super Robot figure that even comes close to a Mazinger Z figure on my list, no matter how many thousands of Mazinger Z figures have already been made. Sorry, just had to throw that out. Now seriously, for the pictures circulating the web, the CM's Jeeg is only going to come with the parts shown. Even so, it's price is very HIGH! Maybe CM's decided against including more stuff with the Jeeg in order to keep the cost down. I'm sure they had to at least consider the Sky and Earth parts at some point in its development. hell, I even dare to say they considered the Big Shooter as well! Then again, can you imagine how much the price would be for a set with all those things??? I would estimate it at no less than $350 to $400 for it. And for the looks of it, on the picture where Jeeg is together with the other CM's magna toys, Jeeg does not look that big anyway. I'm still hoping for a Power Up set for the Jeeg... }D

I wish they release all the weapon and accessories as a seperate set.
As much as I love to have the whole set, it is just a bit too expensive for me. I only want to get the main 'robot' first...

That metallic color looks a little weird I think. I just wish I could afford one!

Not too sure about that golden colour, but I think all in all, I prefer this metal version.
Heard also there's going to be a very limited run of a black version for the Italian mrket.

I'm really liking this Jeeg more and more. Normally I'm not big on metallic looking paint, but I think it works well here.
