Yes, the usual Italian Shop exclusive includes 2 extra Jeeg Torsos to display all modes at once. Not only the Black, but the Normal as well.
Not sure about the metallic.

Cancelled my AmiAmi order as Im waiting for the exclusive set with 3 bodies from BBTS,dont care about the wait, its silly to get teh one body set when you can get 3 bodies and display all 4 jeeg combinations....not counting Panthroid comination unless you choose it over regular Jeeg.

Mine is coming this week... Anime Import is proposing the 3 bodies set for september (version sold by BBTS). Will find a way to get 2 extra bodies... I allready preordered the Black set at Toyshunter ^__^ Glossy paint is okay for me. Now display will have some good looking. A kind of grendizer beast touch ! (please Bandai, give us the evil and vilains we need in SOC).

I didnt know amiami accepted cancellations! I really dont care for the extra Jeeg torsos because I find it weird to display four different Jeegs at the same time just because of accessories. It would be like if the SOC Grendizer King of Space Set came with three extra Grendizers so you can display each one with each of the different Spacers on. I think this extra bodies were just a way for the company to charge more for the set by including unnecessary bodies in it. Smart and wrong at the same time.

I ordered the regular sea air earth set version through Ami Ami. I read on the Toys hunter site that the Black edition's torsos are plastic instead of diecast like the "stand alone" Jeeg set I hope that's not true.

Oh no!!! that would possibly mean the extra torso sets are too in regular color..oh man hope not!!

Just got mine... I confirm Jeeg body included is plastic made. Btw, box is huge (1 level storage) with all modes stored in order : Earth - Sky - Marine. Screw caps are behind the styro box. I just get the Earth mode out of the box : sweet looking bad boy ! The bad minor part is about the forearm-drillers : the shape is simply a cone with thin ray, quickly filled with the paint app. Be very care full when connecting the drill and bending the elbow once connected, the connect peg (rocket punch like) is very thin and plastic made. Otherwise, when rotating shoulder, it's better to hold the circular saw, they tend to follow the rotation movement because of the notches of the joint. Will try the other modes later...

by the way is this guy held together with magnets for his main joints or did i just dream that if so how well does he hold up is he poseable?

About poseability and magnet joints. I am not so sure, but hips seem to be less strong than Regular Jeeg. Legs and feet are fully diecast and strong magnet make him have a good balance. Will try to make a short video tonight to show you the difference with the Jeeg.

Edit : except drillers, arms are fully diecast, but legs are not, only the feet are diecast made...

Hey Lejam Thanks for taking time to do a very helpful quick review. I can't wait till you do a Sky and Marin quick review too Your "not so duck voice" is better then my "real silly voice." I ordered the "Brave Gokin38 Steel Jeeg Optional Parts Set [Regular Edition]." with one torso. I now am sure the torso in my set is plastic too.... Is yours Italian set with three torso? I'm thankful CMs included a torso in this set but I wish it was a diecast. Still, I can understand why they did that. I am also sadden only feet and arms are die cast so far... I will get my set in couple of weeks and I will do the "infamous lip test." mine to see if I'm missing any die cast parts.

HA HA... Thanks. I have to buy a light box and light to make this properly and clean. It's rough... I put some notes on video to correct my mistakes. My set is a Japanese version, so I only got 1 torso. Torso in plastic is disapointed but it's ok. Here is the Marine part QUICK review :

It's keeping me sane while I eagerly wait for my set ...Lot of Italian bro's reviews, but You're the only English review I can find on CM Jeeg. I can't wait for your Sky Parts video...hint hint. ;D Man I'm so needy... sad sad sad Thanks again, I can't wait to get mine..

Hi all. I just received my copy of regular Japanese sea, air land set. First, really good news. There are good amount of die cast. All three sets of thighs, feet (except the "sea" feet), and shoulders are all diecast. There's bit of diecast in air "backpack" thingy...The torso like everything else is plastic. The magnets are really strong except for where the thigh meets the hip. Due to articulation egineering compromise, it is little less strong.. The details and qualities are comparable to SOCs. I think it's well worth $220 I paid to Ami AMi. Bad news or good news depends on how you feel about styro... I know I might get some flak for saying this especially from Josh but..I HATE styrofoams right next to PVCs. This thing is packed in HUGE toxic non recyclable styro coffin. The smell was just awful and you can see tiniest spikes of styro just ready to lodge inside your lungs..which BTW will never come out..I had to take it outside and remove each baggies from the coffin( and there are lot of them since every piece of jeeg was individually wrapped...) with rubber glove...that took me forever And later that night, I got huge head ach that lasted till afternoon next day.....Thanks CM.

Up on closer inspection, I would really becareful when transforming the "air." The diecast air feet's on a plastic ball joint and it tends to pop off when I tried to collapse it to form a "airplane mode(?)"
Sorry I'm little ignorant when it comes to Jeeg...
