If Bandai can solve the problem how to form a good Godsigma, there will be hope for the Albegas!!! I don't think Bandai will have any significant problems in combining Godsigma - the original's proportion looks pretty good, although articulation is minimal. IMHO, in general Bandai just need to improve the articulation for the new version, and slightly improve the proportion for the combined mode. Albegas is another problem though. The original's combined form is not proportioned very well. If Bandai can solve this problem without compromising structural integrity, sculpt and pose-ability, then all is good. All Albegas combination are achieved the same way aren't they? Both of them (Godsigma and Albegas) have the similar formation to wide the shoulder. The execution on GX-40 is pretty good, but the arms are external. Besides, you will see how GX-43 Daimos imitates Godsigma!! ;D Godsigma: Albegas:

Well, Al be gassed! ;D This is the first time I've seen these two robots in animation. They both have similar transformation sequences. zozo-Magengar I don't think Bandai will have any significant problems in combining Godsigma - the original's proportion looks pretty good, although articulation is minimal. Sweet! But I am starting to wonder if the SOC line is just going to focus now on large complex robots while the SRC line will pick up where the "standard" SOC's left off? I hope not but two large combiners if they are following each other is gonna put a hurt on my wallet. SOC is focusing large complex robots from now on....? It is not nesscessary the case. Remember Bandai released GX-38 Iron Gear Xabungle, GX-39 Baikanfu and then GX-40 God Mars... afterward a few small-lish robots. And maybe Bandai will do SOC UFO Warrior Dai Apolon oneday. Oh yes, the Dai Apolon!

God Sigma is such a unique looking SR some think it's a little boring but I just love plus I love the head design.

I wouldn't be surprised if a SRC figures that sell really well then get made into SOCs. I mean who isn't going to buy their favorite robots in SOC form because they already have an SRC version. Not saying this will for sure happen, and I actually hope it doesn't work this way, but it wouldn't surprise me with they way Bandai like likes to upgrade and reuse their engineering..

OMG this made my day. I so can not wait for a new GodSigma... it was my FAVORITE toy as a kid (the ST version, never could afford the DX) ... on a side note, anyone have the series subbed, I have never seen it!

a bit off-topic: If ever Bandai decide to make Albegas, would they make it the same style as GX-06 Getter Robo and GX-18,19,20 Getter Robo G in a 3 different robot mode type? since albegas can volt-out and volt-in to form a different robot? which means you have to collect all 3 and triple expenses... yikes!

Yeah it will be three separate robots that can combine if Bandai does choose to make one. The design is pretty simple compared to say Gunbuster and if Bandai can make it work they will, that's one of the hallmarks of the SOC line.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
...Maybe they make it like the same style as the SOC Tobikage... Albegas, has six stackable configuration mode...

Little less bulky compared to the classic one, other than the improved poseability, I think we can expect similar mechanism that goes into the combination process.
Thanks for sharing!

No extra feet hanging on the back of the leg. Looks like they may be using the same trick used in SOC Godmars.
