Reposting an image from 2008 that's relevant to this About time they got around to this, hah. Bandai's SOC version made me sad. Hopefully this one will make me happy again.

Thanks for the repost of the pic of Max Gokin Big-O, I didn't know they already made it but not officially released. That's one cool fig compared to Bandai's release. I'm sad at the SOC version that they only released half of Big-O's weapons and the rest of the accessories are Tamashii Exclusive. Hopefully, Max Factory would include all of Big-O's accessories when they release their figure.

Too late for me, I already bit on the SOC one, much as I like Big O I really don't want another version of it. I'm not sure what to expect in terms of what accessories and gimmicks are included judging from they're previous releases it could really go either way. i.e. Mazinkaiser OD-ing on accessories, Godannar starving for more.
Though I highly doubt, it will come with weapons effects.

I should have known . Don't think I'll bite this, I have no idea what to do with my SOC version.

It will have to be really good for me to grab this one. I'm quite happy with my SOC.
...and after the Max Dragonar fiasco...(diecast content and price drop)....I'll definetly be waiting for reviews this time round!!

May I ask why the dissapointment with the Bandai SOC version, besides the Tamashii exclusive accessories of course? I bought one on sale from HLJ, but only opened it to check its condition and didn't even take it out of the box. I'm curious as to what is wrong with it...

I shiver at the possible price of this beast. Being about 12 inches tall and massive as hell this thing is going to be the biggest friggin gokin in max factory history. I guess all of those figmas they made sold well enough to help fuel a project like this..... hehe. Speculation time! I hope there's a good amount of metal, a few noteworthy gimmicks (piston punch, cockpit, etc), good articulation and a price point somewhere below $250.

Didn't realize it was to be 12"......if that's so chances are it shall be more similar to a typical "DX" toy [mostly plastic] like the scopedog 1/12 or Patlabor 1/24
Or it could be similar to Yamato's Daguard Ace.

I truly doubt that Max Factory 12" inch diecast figure is going to sell for $250 or less. Unless they cut the size and/or diecast content, it will probably be in the over $350 to $400 range. Max Factory has never been very affordable anyway...

I will wait for the review. I wasn't too impress with the last Max Gokin Dragonar - mostly plastic and bad qc in paint job.

After looking at the ad a little closer they say something about the weight being 1kg, now I don't know whether that's the figure itself or the figure and the packaging, but the interest in this thing is growing even more, well at least for me.

That's about the same weight as SOC Ideon, which means $$$.

THIS is the figure that got me into buying Gokin, so even though I FINALLY got the SOC version, I'm totally down for this guy also!

It comes with the chains? That was the only thing really missing from the SOC version.
