I assumed that the Andromeda was going to be an April release, so I thought I was going to have a couple of months to recoup from the GX-46 purchase. So, not only I got hit with the Andromeda and the GX-46, noooo, I also got hit with the Revoltech Predator, the Revoltech Gigan (x2: one for my daughter), and the Ultra Brothers' Cape (x3)... It truly was a painful first week of February... }D

HLJ lists this as 1/625 scale, what was GX-57? They also list BPX-01 at 1/625 too.

Also 1/625. It says in on the display stand.
What scale did you think it was supposed to be?

None really, I'm not bothering to buy these and for the most part if it isn't a Gundam Bandai isn't to worried about scale. 1/625 though seems to be a odd choice, I would think 1/700 would be a better scale since a lot of model ships are in that scale. I guess 1/700 would have been o small and 1/500 would have been to big and expensive.

The good thing about the 1/625 scale for this particular ships is that it will keep them in perfect scale with the Taito Game Price ships. So these two SOCs will be in perfect scale with the Taito Captain Harlock (both versions) as well as the Queen Esmeraldas ships.

Aren't those Taito ships around 16" long? Around the same as GX-57 and GX-58 but I don't think they'll be in scale. The Yamato is around 265m long while both Arcadia's (blue and green) are around 400m even the Emeraldas is listed around 338m. Still I'm sure they will great together.

Hmmm, I wonder why Taito still lists them as 1/625 scale then. Might as well not list the scale at all on the box and just leave it like that. BTW, anyone knows what's the scale of the Aoshima Ships? }D

HLJ has the Emeraldas on sale pretty cheap but I haven't seen any Arcadia's with a decent price.

Please enjoy my review of GX-58 Andromeda.
I'm a little too tired to upload my pictures and written review. I'll try to have that done later today.

Nice review pinoy78. I was hoping that there would be some bonus gifts but you've confirmed there isn't any. So more die-cast than GX-57?
