2 feet tall?! Holy $#!% that's gigantic! But then again, Devastator is supposed to be gigantic.

Two feet is pushing it, I'd say. The Koenig in destroid/gerwalk mode isn't near a foot tall (in robot mode - maybe), and the display rack that's holding the torso up is from a MG Unicorn release and is about 8" tall. I'd say maybe a 16" or so would be a closer approximation - still quite big, though.

Is it me or the lower part (legs from the waist down) isn't in proportion with pictures of the upper torso. Those legs seem short IMO. We could have a dwarf Devastator! Unless it's the angle the photos were taken.

if you are talking about the color figures those are not part of it, those are older figures that were attached for fun.

^ Yeah I was talking about the colored figures. It just looks funny in the pic. I hope they do release vehicles that are in proportion (with the upper torso) so Devastator doesn't look like a dwarf.

Yeah, I posted those pictures and found them from another site to show that these use the old combiner ports from the energon/superlink figures. So you can mix and match Superion and Bruticus, even the Fansproject figures to this Devastator. Not saying you should do so, but the fact that it is possible makes tese figures much more fun.

Also these new "Constructicons" look like there larger than the older figures so therefore the limbs should also be longer to get the proper proportion.

Certainly. I mean, think about what you're looking at, two Scout sized limbs on what's basically Devy's lower body and upper legs and they still look way too small just connected this way. Just another sign that this thing is going to be monstrous. You can also get an idea of just how big each individual Constructicon is, Long Haul looks much bulkier than any of the proper deluxe figures would look on those legs. These might actually be closer to Voyager size than Deluxe.

I wonder if we are looking at this the wrong way. We expect that the knee joint will be right where the connector is like the hasbro gestalts. I bet the lower leg will have a lower knee joint rather than a high knee joint we are used to. I suspect the actually joint might be a good inch lower than this connector point.
Either that, or a double knee, or even just long lower legs with little thoughts for posability.

I expect the legs, mixmaster and scraper to be at least the same lenght as arm scavenger. Agree with coldiron in that the knees will be lower part of the two leg figures.

Judging by the way the front sticks out I'm thinking the "foot" will be supported by that rather than have him doing a handstand.

This is turning out to be a truly awesome figure. I think it may surpass MP prime in terms of awesomeness. I just don't expect to afford it.

By far my favourite thing about this rendition of Devastator is that unlike a lot of combining bots is that his combined form is not made of a lot of kibble - all the parts look cohesive to the whole. This latest picture shows that the "leg" mode will look just as solid as the individual "bulldozer" and robot mode... and it looks to be in good proportion to the rest of the completed Devastator too.
I guess I'm just sick of combiners that look like they're made of a bunch of parts that shouldn't even support its own weight once combined.

So... did they confirm they will sell it as a whole collection or separate figures? Cause, you know... budget and stuff...
