It will be awesome, but the fear is the price. If it is even $60 a bot, its going to get costly to collect the whole gestalt. The only posts on it are in the unofficial tf thread.

TFC Project Devy. This one is the one that I am saving money for. With the price of their Primars selling at 60+, there isn't much of a chance anyone of these will be any cheaper. We will be lucky to get these at the price of Warbot Defenders price of $90.

Anyone know when this thing is going to be released? its been in production for what seems like a life time. It was only previewed last August, it's going to be a while before they're ready to go. Emerje

Color images. I think this is going to cost more than I expected.

Most expensive bootleg ever!
If the constructacons were on the same size scale (by looking at the pictures) of the BT transformers (or bigger), then it would be definitely worth the money!
Can't think of a "official" gestalt bigger than Predaking (I could be wrong), so this would be definitely worth it.
So how do we go about ordering this, any secure English websites?
Just amazes me why TakaraTomy can't design cool stuff like this.

This thing used the energon style combiner ports. I found this picture over at the tfw2005 board. Here we see longhaul with two of the energon/superlink constructicon pieces. I've seen pictures of the scavenger metal plates mold, so it is already in production. Usually, with TFC items, preorders become available roughly a month prior to the release, like with Primars and the Targetroids.

If that's an actual photo then the scale of this guy is going to be ridiculous since that's just the lower torso. I'm not big on collecting Transformers and something really has to blow my mind and the latest release of preview photos does it - I'm getting this when it releases! I mean, when it previewed last fall with just the arm, I think it was kind of cool, but that was real hard to get a handle on its sheer size... Anybody got anything to say about TFC? Have they built other similar stuff before and was it good?

There are reviews of their SD prime on youtube. It seems decent quality from the review. This torso bot is cool on its own, and could be lots of fun combining with current TF gestalts using the same type of connector.

I hope they go with Scavenger's (did I get it right?) brighter color scheme. Looks more G1 to me.

I checked the video reviews of the other TFC releases on Youtube and I'm impressed. These third party products are getting better and better (the last 3rd party "figure" I got were the Perfect Effect weapon-bots for Nemesis Prime's Fansproject trailer... and comparitively those were flimsy and hard to justify their price).
But the SD Prime was just awesome. Flimsy too but watching the video, it seems TFC picked the right plastics to use in the right places. So I'm certain "Project Devy" is in good hands...
...having said that... yes, I'm afraid for the price too. Given this project was first teased back in the fall and now we're only starting to get prototype photos of the top half. I'm guessing we won't see it release until another year from now (unless they start releasing the individual figures one at a time). I would be willing to spend $60-$80 per figure a few months at a time.

this is bad azz..... i want one.. how much is it? No price yet, but speculation based on other 3rd party works places the set at between $500 and $600. Emerje

Nothing official again, but in that one picture with the partial Devastator propped up on the support he's next to a 1/60 scale Macross Frontier Konig Monster which is like a foot tall in that mode I believe so he might be just shy of 2 feet tall.
