Is the Starzinger quite rare auctioned with the Jumbo Grendizer to have went for $1975.00 ? cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330562425454(not a current ebay auction, already done and over) I have seen recently the Jumbo go for around $250 - $400 depending if in box with the mazinga style left shooting arm. Higher for the real left arm.

I've not seen a (Jumbo)Popy version go for under $800 since I've been avidly watching the auctions since Jan-Feb. That is not to say I haven't missed a few . lol. Over a $1k has been the recent prices. Crazy expensive...to much for me.
The Shogun (European) version with the Missile hand I've seen go for $300-$500. I hope to score one of these sometime soon. There is one with missing Harken, missiles and wheel trucks and some of the decals for $399. I couldn't get the seller to bite for $280.
An auciton a month ago had the European Version complete with Box go for $600. It was the guy whom dumped a whole bunch of MIB/nearly new all complete Jumbos with Boxes from his collection. That was the 1st time I also saw a Daimos with a box.

The boxed Grandizer/starzinger is a pretty odd diecast. I'd say there may be a diecast collector looking for that one....as for price on it, I haven't seen a compareable so it may be the add on price.

The Starzinger Grendy (also known as the Clover Grendizer) is up there in terms of price and desirability. Definitely worth a hell of a lot more than the Jumbo in the auction, but that price is just crazy. It is going up in value - its wanted by a very select group of collectors, and they are willing to pay a LOT for it, as evidenced by the auction. That particular one looks to be missing the harikens, though. Insane price. But yes, the diecast IS worth much more than the Jumbo, which is actually very common overseas.
