Am I the only one that actually prefers the black Getter 1 variation better? I don't know what it is but maybe its the cape but I think if you used the Getter 1 head and cape with the arm blades from the black Getter it would look sweet!

i yet to get my hands on mine, and altho the original black getter 1 has as much defects as the 1st edition getter 1, i know i will definitly prefer variation 1 black getter. becos it has taku sato's signature and the new one dont.

Well, I'd suggest to get over it and buy it on eBay. ;D Seriously, it's considerably cheaper. I almost just ordered a second one from a reputable seller to display it in black Getter 1 mode, until I came back to my senses, realized it was $500 (shipping included and actually CHEAPER than my near day one preorder, but still... $500...) and that I was drowning in figures already. (Puuuuuhleaaaaze buy my crap... the link is in my sig... Ok, sorry for the shameless plug.) But if you really hate eBay, most stores that were taking preorders for it still have some up for grab. Like Toy-Wave ($530), Angolz ($520), Big Bad Toy Store ($599) and Anime-Export ($480.92). Anime-Export may look like a good deal, but you might want to sit down before using that shipping calculator... |
