Hory shet. The last couple days' worth of posts/updates have not been good news at all for me financially.
The amount I'm thinking I need to dump into action figures is going to be stupid! Gah!

Is it really happening: EX Gokin UFO Robo Grendizer? Confirmed: Art Storm is indeed producing this BAD@$$! I have a big smile now remembering when I sent a mail to Art Storm in 2010 requesting an EX Gokin UFO Robo Grendizer with a spazer, and today, here we go! I assume the good sales of SRC and CM's Grendizer had a role in making this happen. GRENDIZER, GO!

Cool, although not my cup of tea, I am looking forward to prototypes ...

Same here. The new styling lost some of the iconic look of Grendizer. Still very curious on its development, but not something I feel like I need to jump on like on the Getter G set.

Cool, although not my cup of tea, I am looking forward to prototypes ... same here, the Fewture are not my taste either but it will be very interesting to see there rendition of this guy although i have a question, who is making the rendition sketch of him? if i recall Sato never did a sketch rendition of Grendizer so im a bit concern about it. on a side note, HOLY %&$%^ THAT SPAZER IS GONNA BE FREAKING HUGE!! for those that are gonna purchase this thing you better make space for it.

According to previous post, Sato did indeed make sketches of Grendizer. I may have seen it too, but I really can't recall for sure.

Not sure if we'll see it release in 2014, but it does say it will have its official debute/reveal in 2014 Summer. The EX Gokin often improve upon the sketch on the actual prototype sculpt. So we'll see how well this one "Dizer Go!", so to speak.

Its not too hard to believe Sato whipped out these sketches pretty quickly during spare time, in his sketchbook, or even as somewhat official preliminary design sketches before he passed away. Since they are pretty rough, it could take less than an hour to do it, really. But if Fewture have someone did these and photoshopped Sato's signature on it, then its very wrong...

Since they are pretty rough, it could take less than an hour to do it, really. But if Fewture have someone did these and photoshopped Sato's signature on it, then its very wrong...I hope that is not the case. Anyone's guess is as good as mine, that perhaps Sato may have delegated his work to someone in his department, such as an assistant artist, in case of any future possibility that Sato would move on to another project before completing the current one. But still, no one had foreseen that someday Sato would pass away. Not even Sato himself. So then, perhaps Fewture is doing this as a tribute to Sato, by using his signature and reminding fans of Sato's work with the company. If that is to be the case, then this new upcoming product would be an honorable legacy left by Sato for fans of this toy line to enjoy and preserve his memory through your ownership of this new item. Sato would still have wanted his work to carry on by any means. If he were alive right now, he would be pleased. zozo-mag

Well Sato didn't mention the 4 Machine Blasters either and yet there were his sketches and even prototypes by fewture. so I guess he must have had quite a few of those sketches n his artbook.

I read from Prof. Taku's interview that he HAS done the sketches of Grendizer. So trust me, Fewture will release it someday. Guys, as mentioned a few times before, Prof Sato did have a sketch or two for EX Gokin Grendizer before he passed away. So this design is INDEED his own work. Fewture just need to get someone else to refine it for production. (Just what they did with Shin Getter 1).

The cost of an Ex Gokin Spazer - let alone the figure itself - has got to $300 to $500. This better be a masterpiece. (In the same way the Getter Gs have been.)
