Why does it look so bad to me?! Is it my eyes, or is this Grendizer huge on the upper half and short on the lower? Like the legs are about as long as its arms or something... }|

thats def shocking. and as expected, around $400 MSRP.... so bout $470 shipped? i hate the lower arms. they look really clumsy like something in tune of 3 As'. Hipzinger.. just not as bad as that. this is somebody's bad interpretation of prof sato's really rough sketches. thumb nail that photo and the proportion looks really REALLY aweful....

Looks better all painted up, but probably just because the colors are so iconic to me they automatically make me happy.

Call me crazy, but I like it. Makes a boring design more interesting. Time to run before I'm burned at the stake.

Looks nice, at least for being a Fewture specimen. This should come as no surprise as the Fewture gokin line is a peculiar rendition in some "Geiger-esque" fantasy way, now that I think about it.
It's a brake from the traditional super-robot action figure style... when visually compared to all the other traditional action figures, this line makes them all appear as usual as "all the others" regardless of their manufacturer origins.
On that note: this toy line isn't my cup of tea, but I can visually appreciate it as an artistic portrayal of the character.

You know what I hate about the design? The legs.
Which instead of being cylindrical, look human and muscular instead... they don't look robotic, it just looks like an armor suit rather than a robot...
Honestly, when I look at it, it reminds me more of Baikanfu than Grendizer. That's the issue I have with it.

His lower legs remind me of Kotetsu Jeeg's forearms!

Too muscular. They should have redesigned it another way instead of bulking it up like the other fewtures.

I ok okay with the design. I like the size as it's going to be 26cm. The other iterations such as SOC and CMS were a bit small for my tastes. The pricing seems in line with the other fewture getters which to me is pretty expensive. Still considering getting it though. When will preorders come up?

Fewture should've just used the same leg design as with their Mazingers, but more elaborated. Instead, they went with their Shin Getter's leg design, sort of... }|

yea...defenetly they did this Grendizer base more on Shin Getter and Mazinkaiser mix.... i would prefer it was more on the line like bot Mazingers TBH. they made the shoulder way to big making it look far more bulkier in the torso and the lower legs look way to skinny while his upper tights are bulkier.
However im curious in one thing, will this Grendizer make an appearance in the Shin Mazinger Zero manga? since well Zero's design is base on the fewture Mazinger Z

Damn I hate when someone doesn't remove the shoulder boomerangs when he's havin' the double harken in the hands! So, I saw many people (here and on Facebook) loving his upper torso but questioning the lower part. Let's take a look at the original sketch again...

Nevermind the arms (which are screwed up anyway), just look at the legs and tell me. Do they look like or resemble, even in the slightest, original Gredizer's legs?
Grendizer had simple legs, cylindrical just like any SR of the era. Even its feet were circles. But this version has muscular legs and normal, shoe-shaped feet. They look more like Mazinger's feet, and that's a stretch...
