Hmmm... Volfogg has never been one of my favorite GGG mechas, but it looks pretty good in the SRC form. Now... when do we get GaoFighGar???! ;D

Yeah I'm sure Bandai will release every Brave from GGG, it's a cash cow it's just a matter of how many will be web exclusives. Edit - Key for Victory set 4 is up for pre-order at toy-wave, kinda expensive for four pieces of plastic even if it's a web exclusive. Hopefully amiami has will have it up soon. toy-wave.com/eng/detail.php?id=15352&table=88

Hi all, here's a quick look at the Super Robot Chogokin Choryujin and Key of Victory Set #3 Dimensional Pliers. I was really hoping that HoRyu and EnRyu would be released before Choryujin did. Now I wonder if they will ever release the duo at all. That said, I’m glad Bandai released the Choryujin with the ability to do “Symmetrical Out” for some mix match fun with Gekiryujin when he rolls out. Symmetrical Docking!! CHORYUJIN!!!! Double Guns! Tonfa Choryujin comes 3 variations of his chest plate. The smallest one is for making additional poses that require his shoulders to be closer together, like for holding the Eraser Head. For the Shield pose you will need to tack on the additional rifle extensions for added length. Mirror Coating-equipped Shield plate Eraser Head! For some reason, I can’t seem to get the right hand to hold the Eraser Head properly, even if I use the one with the peg for the removable hole in the Eraser Head. As a result, I’m not sure if Choryujin can hold the Eraser without the support stand. Eraser Head 999! A Word of CautionThe fist pegs are a new design, swapping fists can be a pain. When I first tried it, the other end came out with the fist, so I tried removing from that end. It resulted in the peg itself flipping out and flying across the room. Lol. I spent a half hour searching frantically for the darn thing ! Lesson learned… when swapping the fists (or removing the fist peg), do it in a closed area. Trust me, it’s very hard to find the peg due to the tiny size if it starts flying off again. I’m just happy they used light-colored plastic and not black. Otherwise it would’ve been much harder to find. Super Robot Chogokin Gaogaigar Key of Victory Set 3 – Dimensional Pliers Even though the Dimensional Pliers don’t transform into their individual components, it does have an alternate mode. Parts swapping required. Dimensional Pliers! Tool Connect!! The Pliers plug into the fist pegs, so you have to take out the fists prior to connecting. I recommend inserting each end section of the Pliers into GGG’s forearms first and then connecting the larger, heavier half of the Pliers. Prior to the arrival of GoldyMarg, Gaogaigar used the Dimensional Pliers for executing the Goldion Hammer final attack. Gold

Thanks themazingerz. Goldymarg is a part of the hammer, but most of his body comprises the marg arm actually Gold

Just a headsup. It seems that Bandai is addressing the problems with the GGG joints. A version 2 has been released. Some improvements here, even the box is slightly different (Bolder text, GGG looking up instead of down) blog.livedoor.jp/zgmf2/archives/52246665.htmlAccording to the last pic, GGG can now hold that kicking pose without support or fear of the leg dropping down. Sigh... is it just me or does every post-Takara GGG toy that rolls out is automatically cursed in some way and is always followed up with a 2.0? ;D Gold

As long as the future SRC GaoFighGar doesn't have any problems, I'll forgive Bandai for the GGG. }D

Is GGG worth it? He looks really cool with the hammer and I like the design a lot. But I can't stand that green kid in the anime.....so much so that I stopped watching after 2-3 episodes.....

Same thing happened to me with the GGG anime, just couldn't stand the enemy characters' design. However, give the "GaoGaiGar Final" anime a shot. It is actually very cool, with lots of action. Even the silliness feels epic in that anime!

GaoGaiGar is definitely worth a watch if you like super robots. The first 20 or so episodes are standard "monster of the week" kind of episodes, and mostly serve to introduce the characters and equipment. Around the middle of the series everything starts ramping up and it gets better. GaoGaiGar FINAL is awesome, but you'll appreciate it more if you watch the TV series first.

I'm not surprised by the version 2 coming out my GGG is pretty lose and with the hammer its even worse. Plus I just got the second weapon set and with the Stealth Gao II on it can barely stand without tipping bachwards. It looks awesome but I think its another case where the designers didn't focus on the joints more and neglected to add in all the extra weight the hammer and stuff adds. I'm glad I got it though, just one little nitpick the included stand works for the Stealth Gao II but not the regular one. Its missing two small ports which I'm sure will be added in the new version of GGG
