There probably the same size as the old ones, looks like the only major change are the arms and lower legs so overall height shouldn't change much. Those prices aren't too bad if you take into account inflation and the current economy still I miss the days when paying a $100 was a big deal and near the top of the price range lol.

The ironic thing is that these prices are "cheap" when you're used to collecting overpriced bots like CM's Brave series.

I'd like to know the size of the new seekers. What I'll probably do is transform the earlier Masterpiece seekers into vehicle mode and once Takara re-issue the Masterpiece seekers v2, I'll display them in robot mode together. EDIT: RRP for MP-11 is 13,000 Y Hobby link is selling for 11,050 Y - 15% discount HLJ will probably sell for 10,400 Y - 20% discount amiami will probably sell for 9,750 Y - 25% discount Does that mean if Takara releases not just Starscream but all the seekers with this mold you actually plan on buying them all? :/

Does that mean if Takara releases not just Starscream but all the seekers with this mold you actually plan on buying them all? :/ Probably This mold (especially in robot form) just looks better. But I hope Takara release something different (Ultra Magnus) in between all those seekers v2 releases. You have to give Takara credit though. Why buy an unofficial masterpiece (e.g. igear) when you can buy an official one! Before I actually buy, I'd like to know what the quality is like in the new mold in comparison to the previous seekers and the igear versions.

I suspect that if Hasbro does decide to release this mold, it'll be as Thundercracker, not Starscream, not at first anyway.

So basically what I've learned is that Masterpiece means various versions of convoy, seekers, Rodimus and reissues of Megatron & Grimlock. Hopefully by MP20, we have a fresh new character. i second that, too many darn repeat characters

You have to give Takara credit though. Why buy an unofficial masterpiece (e.g. igear) when you can buy an official one! But Takara is out the tracks with a MP G1 Bumblebee... Only Igear will produce the Bee (oh yes) ! Remember Volkswagen policy : they don't want their brand related to "robots fighters with weapons". -> That's why no Bee was produced under Binaltech line (same with Porsche). Collecting Igear seekers and other MPs they plan to produce is a good way to display a full completed collection... It's nice Takara has reduce the scale*, IMHO, it does complete the Igear MP line ^__^ *but not the price...

Well I think its just speculation right now to say they will release all the Seekers and Coneheads its a pretty good chance but nothings been confirmed. For all we know this could just be a stop gap solution til Takara engineers a Ultra Magnus with transforming trailer. They have to know that a lot of fans already bought the first version and they didn't even bother to release the coneheads so they must know that the market for secondary characters is pretty limited.

If the Igear version is as detailed as the Hasbro version, I might get that instead of the new one.

So new legs, gun, face and chest/crotch panel? not only that but there is a new extension part on the wings hmm the guns seems you could detach it from the middle? so far i like the new look of this starscrems, looks more proportionate much better, but that extra extension on the wings is kinda awkward, is not terrible but is awkward.

Looks better having it on the wing than being a hip kibble.

I take it now most ppl are gonna go with this release instead of Igears PP03T ... it'll be weird if ppl skip this one for refusing to pay 60$ Extra

I may get this one simply because I dont have a MP colour accurate Star Scream. All I have is the origonal Takara MP one they decided for some stupid reason to paint blue.
