that's great news, I thought the SPEC line was stopped. I'm glad to see it continues as there may be more EVA figures someday

The spec XS-17R is on its way, so I'll have a full review maybe a week after it arrives. Expect lots of pictures.

I do collect the Dragonar Specs but enough already. It'd be nice to have an EVA-06, or as i call it: Macross Vf-27 had a child with an EVA.

I agree, Eva 06 would be great, although I'd prefer the winged mass production type which I'd cretainly to buy multiples ;D So Spec Dragonar doesn't need to have the armor applied? I'm not sure if Spec version of L-Gaim had a removable armor though Oh by the way Dimis, do you have any pictures of Gilgamazune, I had no luck with the google picture search

From what i've read L-gaim has removable armour only at the legs. Also Falguen does not have removable armour overall either. As for Gilgazamune, i will buy him because i've got most Spec Dragonars (except 05 and 06) , but i really don't like that gold body.

ahh your right falguen didnt and now that i think of it i dont think dragonar 2 or 3 did either oh well they are much better without removable armor but i definitely know they used the same inner frame

ahh well there you go then! I just got my dragonar custom this weekend in the mail and i must say he is awesome. He definitely got a revamped frame but there are plenty of similarities. I was surprised to learn that this version actually made an appearance at some point? I was thinking he was a hyper stylized iteration of the character.

Correct me if I'm wrong. but I think the new Dragonar was based off of this illustration? Its really a shame that Dragonar wasn't drawn like this in the anime because I love the dynamic proportions. Then again to be fair Dragonar was drawn sort of dynamically in the opening, but that's as far as the coolness factor goes. ;D

Being a fan of organic-looking designs, i find this Dragonar 3 much better that the already released. Dragonar 2 looked good, but 3 looked very weak.

Yeah, lol. The Opening Silhouette version is good enough if you're unable to get the XS-17 version. Gold
