Got my first bona fide anime girl figure. Which sounds terrible, except it's Yuria from Fist of the North Star. Revoltech Legacy version. Got Rei and Shin too.

Got my first Super Robot Chogokin today. I wanted to get into this line with something that I knew was good before buying it (that's why I skipped on the Getter 1 back in December). So I got the SRC Mazinger Z the 2013 reissue to be precise, the one without the styrofoam base. I'll probably be getting the weapon set as well, sooner or later.

And guess what, I got the weapons set today, hehe. Found a place that still had one from 2010, at 12 euros *grabs* and now it's mine. Ahh. Bandai won't be releasing the weapon set 2 anymore, right? Tsk. EDIT: Also, while I was in the shop, I saw a SRC Great Mazinger displayed. Oh boy, that head is tiny.. when I opened my SRC Mazinger Z I thought the head was just a tad smaller than I would've liked to, but it was still fine. But Great Mazinger, despite having a bigger body than his brother, has an even smaller head! Too small I mean, there was a SRC Grendizer there as well, and going by cockpit proportions it really looked like Great Maz was taller than Grendy. Outrageous. But I want to hear your opinion, as it is the only small diecast modern rendition of the robot (or at least, the most easy to find these days). Yeah, I wanted to ask you, is it still worth it? Despite the pin-head?

Even if it looks a bit buffier than on screen, mainly thanks to that small head, I can tolerate that. Probably. I'll just look a bit more at pictures and reviews, and if I get over it I'll buy one for sure. Thanks S_Gokin

The Yurishas look great, my wife wouldn't like them though. She had a fit when i had Revoltech Pocco and Yoko.
Well, I should be getting a payment request any day now for the 1/12 C3PO kit, my boy is really happy with these kits.
edit: additionally should be getting requests for SHF Vader, Stormtrooper, and SHF Drive. Just prepaid for SHF God Goku and Golden Frieza.

I had this Japanese Golion when I was 7 and also the castle of lions. All the toys I had were given or thrown away back then by my mom when we moved to new house. I received this last week. So glad that i'm able to own this first edition of Golion again in such a minty state.

Got the NECA 18 inch Jaeger Striker Eureka yesterday! Here are my three Pacific Rim 18 inch Jaegers together Man, what a light show. Turn 'em on at night and leave them outside, they'll keep the burglars away plus, they'd double as garden gnomes. ...garden Jaegers? Jokes aside, they look amazing. Cherno Alpha will always be my favourite though. The "Russian punching machine".

Evolution Toy Dynamite Action No.19 UFO Robot Grendizer! }D what do you think of this set? it sure looks good in the pictures though. i have waited a long time for it, but it should be on the way Edit: just read your comments on the other thread. A nice figure like that having paintwork problem is quite disappointing. Hate it when you have finger prints on the paint, shows sloppish manufacturing process. I will provide my feedback when i get hold of mine.

mecha-mecha, no... what I mean is that the chrome is such a delicate finish that every time I touch it I leave fingerprints on it. The paint finish on the figure is flawless. Sorry for the confusion. }D
