Well, we got today, tomorrow, and Saturday. I asked Dave about a status update last night on FB when he was "green", but he never replied. }|

I was thinking the same thing though. Today, tomorrow, doubtful on Saturday but maybe. It was supposed to arrive "any minute" 2 days ago. Those are some long Dark Towerish minutes!

Just got mine in from toyer city. I thinks version 2 as it has the wep logo on it. I just went on and combined it anI don't know if its just mine or what but iI believe the button to make the wheel stop from rolling is missing . The figure is great as a displaypeace and mine actually stays together well even with all the weight making it looks feel loose. Still waiting for toyfreaks one but yea......eh..2 year wait should be better quality then this in my imo.

(Meaning do the 2 cars connect seamlessly to the hips?) I really want to know if Ver 2 fixed that issue. Agreed - Definitely not showing 2 years of quality improvements.

The feet for me slide off every now and then. Its like I sometimes push the cars in the slot even though it doesn't yet lol. For anime accurate arms I broke the blades off. I didn't really find them much useful being on there seeing as they only show the blades on his arm when hes using his spinning laser blades. Its catching on to me little by little though as the posing is pretty damn awesome for a 15 vehicle combiner.

Breaking the blades off leaves a gaping ugly hole.I can see the anime accurate thing, but plug them with a rivet or some sculpted round fixture, one that still has a hole but not so large.

Oh sh*t I didn't really know lol. I'd figured since I still have the one from toy freaks coming in, I can leave the blades on them. Oh well

Oh well No its no big deal,TMZ is removing his blades as a few others,Id suggest plugging them with something though, find some shots of the anime to see how they look, its actually not a bad idea what you did,but some small modification would help Im thinking.Actually did you just remove the peg part or the inner circle too?If just teh peg It probably looks fine.

Is the version Toyer city is shipping the same the TF will eventually have?

I have a similar question. I'm generally confused as to exactly which revision we're on. I hear "Revised edition" and fixed and new mold and 2nd run and 3rd run, etc.
Toyer city has what they claim is 2nd run Revised edition and it's only $219. This can't be the one we've been waiting 3 months for from TF is it? I have to imageing if they're trying to liquidated it for that cheap that it must not be the final version. Or demand is really low.
I thought there was the initial "sample" run that shouldn't have been sold with all the flaws. Then there was the first revision which addressed a couple things. Then there was a second revision which addressed a few more things and remolded a couple of things. And then there is the final version we're waiting for that's supposed to have all the mold, paint, and issues fixed.
Am I completely wrong? It's hard to keep track.
I'm just wondering how we'll distinguish revisions? Say someone wants to sell or buy a version and wants to accurately describe which rev they have. How do you know, and what are the distinguishing details of the different revs?
It's like with masterpiece rodimus, there's the original, and then version 2.0 that fixed the leg piece issues. It's impossible to know which is which from a sealed box except for a datecode printed on the bottom. But at least there's a way.
I still think that since it sounds unlikely this will ever be given a wide-spread release or a re-release, at least by this company given the licencing issues, that VV should be fairly collectible in the future. I also expect that even if another company gets a license, they'll probably sit on it just due to the complexity of the toy, and if they make something make another golion first since it's generally more popular (even though I love VV).
I've been wafflying on the masterpiece lion voltron for a while. I love how the lions look but the combined form just has too tiny of a body and comically large limbs. I think MP VV does a pretty good job and only more-plastic version would improve it. Assuming I like my VV if it omes, I'd probably prefer to see a new golion next that hides the legs in combined mode AND fits little diaclone-scale drivers into the lions. Magnetic feet and all.
Other than that, if bandai did get all the licenses, I'd actually really like to see a Super Robot Chogokin posable golion and VV with accessories. They take up less room on the shelf and really provide better robot poses.

Nah i ended up just tearing off the blades lol. But actually i think i know what your talking about as the round ball that the fins connect to seems to be able to pop off. Thanks for the heads up. I read on another forum to get the chopper blades off, youd have to unscrew the whole figure but i wasnt gonna do that lol.
